MAME on ATOM Processor
« on: August 17, 2011, 08:02:11 PM »
Has anyone Installed MAME on an ATOM processor?  With maybe a home version of 7 or XP home?

I run it with home XP on an old Atom, a 1 core 1.6ghz. It is OK for the classics, but DK has sound hiccups of course, like on any system even if it is a 3ghz i7. The newer ones with 9400M graphics and dual core are prefered if you run a big LCD with it. Then you even can do multimedia jukebox things.

That's probably OK. Mine has a GMA900, really ancient.
