I generally don't cross-link but this is an exception. I've been following this Q*bert restoration thread on KLOV forum VERY closely, because-as you guys know- Q*bert is my grail.
And this thread gives me hope....that if I ever find one in no-matter what condition....it IS possible to make a very good looking machine out of it....

Enjoy:

I know that Q-bert is the same cabinet as Mad Planets..

If you can get Ully crazy enough to scan his cab and measure and some detail pics here and there, i can build you the shell  Wink

That is EXTREMELY nice of you to offer Etienne, but you know me eh....If the thing don't smell like 30 years old...it will always be a repro for me. Although I totally admire repro's (ESP. Scr33n's !) I just want my games to have the original shell. I don't know why, I'm probably just crazy.

Oh well, who knows what will happen in the future, crazier things have happened ! Like finding a Zaccaria cockpit...or a SW cockpi f.i. Wink

I took an extra day off today....still have to come to my positives (not just from Eurocade, had a busy week after it) so I hope to get my grail outside of the row.Maybe if weather improves even outside. And I'll take some good pics !
