Mmmm, maybe I should install a 2 euro coin-mech ? ;) ;)

Here's a little video that shows the problem of the bad solderings on the deflection board. These are not of the particular transistor, but it does show the same problem that plagued this area of the board, caused because it's the hottest spot in the cab right there....

Well my holiest of grails ran absolutely perfect for 16 hours (with a 45 minute break for dinner) at Eurocade, so I consider this FIXED !!!

I still had a nice bit of video showing the typical problem on the deflection board :

Also......the Q*bert wasn't the only great present I got at Eurocade !!!

Hi kindly agreed to make a PERFECT backdoor for my SW cockpit since that was the only thing missing from when I bought it !

Look look, it's like a factory job with the holes cut out pefectly, and the edge also routed 100% original. I've got a nice piece of vinyl and a lock ready for this ! Wahoo, thank you Hi !!!!

Also, yet another present was given to me by AtariMania. He kindly brought a Phoenix 2600 mobile. It's almost to good to open that plasic bag since it's unopened since 1982 !  ;D ;D ;D Even though I don't own a Phoenix, I love this kind of Atari stuff !!

So, Merci Beaucoup mes amies !!!!!

You have now to open it and smell the 1982 air inside :)

Here is how it's looks like assembled (I put mine on the gaming room entrance):

Great pic Franck, totally love all that Atari stuff !!

B.t.w your WG 6100 has some serious burn spots on the CRT...worst I've seen so far on a vector....
If only we had a new tube for it....

Also, what was actually wrong with it to start with ? Just so I know a bit what to expect..

I love too Atari goodies, especially counter displays (you can see some on the left of the picture) ;D

For the monitor, I plan to put it on my Tempest as there is nothing on the center of the screen in this game  ;D

There is a complete image on it but it's like playing on the fog !!!

Thanks again
Franck
