school's out - for summer 2011
« on: July 27, 2011, 07:07:50 PM »

time really flies! number three in my school's out for summer series, but this time the summer holidays weren't off to a good start: i woke up this morning (or better: at night) with a teary eye and realized something was not right. went to the eye specialist immediately only to find out i had a tiny metal splinter in my right eye which had already dug its way into the cornea. fortunately, it could be removed without a lot of trouble, but now i'm running around like this :arrow:

the "funny" thing is that this most likely happened while riding a roller coaster yesterday: must have been some kind of abrasion from the metal  construction. if this had happened in the usa, i would probably not have to go to school anymore because i might get some serious money out of it ;). anyway, it should heal up pretty quickly, because i've already planned some nice stuff for the coming weeks :arrow:

and in case you guys were missing something, here you go :arrow:

:spaceace: :spaceace: :spaceace:

i will also intensive my search for a new home and a gameroom over the course of the next few weeks, so stay tuned and watch this space ...
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

It was on the news today: Germans and Danish have the most holidays in Europe: 40 per year. (I guess teachers even more)
We, the poor Dutch are BELOW the European average at 30 days per year !! :evil: :evil:

I DEMAND that we as a unified Europe draw the same line, so I want 40 per year  too !!

:)

I see you're going to travel with the largest train in the world again. The 2nd pic is of one of the drills that dug the Eurotunnel.
I remember the one that ended on the UK side had a "For Sale" sign on it, with under it: "One careful owner"
I love British humor !

Oh...and I'm sure you can do a pretty good voice impression of that first picture :)

But uhm....Let's Play Pinball ? Ully ? Pinball ? Ully => Pinball.....ahhhhhhh, I think I know what Pinball !! Good luck :D

i would l-o-v-e to, but my "electro friend" said without getting the permission to take it down he won't help me because basically it would be stealing - and he's right! i had hoped and thought this would be much easier ...
