Galaxian to JAMMA adapter
« on: May 08, 2011, 09:28:31 PM »
Not sure if I posted this earlier, but I've got a Galaxian to JAMMA adapter on offer. Only used once or twice for testing some stuff.

Let me know if you're interested.

Most welcome, enjoy !!!

Ooops I see I forgot something !!!

There needs to be a jumper on those (bend from shipping !) pins Bela.

Put it on the right side for an Upright (UR). CT means Cocktail but I'm sure you don't need that ?

See the three pins on the right of your pic ?

There is CT and UR (and 1) next to it.

Bend up the pins (carefully !) and make them as straight as possible.
Now you can use a jumper (like the jumpers that are often used on computer motherboards) like these:

You always have one side of the jumper in the center. The other side will go to either CT (cocktail) or UR (upright).
A jumper is simply a connecting piece. It's like a "permanent" switch.

If you don't have one, you can solder the two pins together if you know you will use it only in an Upright...

not ment to bash your comment andre, but just a tip:

you can try to put the jumper on without bending them back to avoid breaking the pins first..

not the most elegant way, but it could prevent the pins from breaking  ;)
