But good for Obama. He did what hillbilly Bush did not manage. He was even very diplomatic in his speech. No referral to the 9-11 thing in any form. The media tries to see it in his speech, but he does not mention a word about it. Very smart.

Yeah, that's the only downside, he hasn't suffered enough...but then again would he ever?

A very smart decision by the US to shoot him at the spot. They already do not know what to do with the "lesser" terrorists they have in Guantanamo right now. Nobody wants them in their prisons...
Also, it would lead to numerous hi-jacks to try to get him free....and just think about the money saved on his trials. I like it, he got what he deserved.

What also puzzles me: Until last Sunday, the bad guy was just plain "Bin Laden". Why did they start to call him Osama all of a sudden?

Your memory must be clouded. He's always been called Osama Bin Laden. Maybe they "got rid" of it since Obama became a serious President candidate...

The funny thing is that if an earlier attack by the US on him, held under the Bill Clinton administration in 1998 would have succeeded, the WTC would probably be still standing today....people forget to quickly !!!

That attack was with cruise missiles and it totally destroyed the camp but Osama had just left a couple of hours before...

Clearly, Obama learned from this...
