This sounds interesting:

http://ds.ign.com/articles/799/799644p1.html

They are trying to find a publisher. Click on this link:

http://www.wizardryengineering.com/

You can send them an e-mail saying you want this on the DS.

News from Hans (Lead Programmer & Producer @ Wizardry Engineering) :

There is some very good news indeed

-          we have secured funding for the entire game
-          we are in full production
-          we have secured publishing deal, meaning the product now has a partner, who is putting the game onto the shelves in Feb/Mar next year! ;-)

right now we are looking for a company or person who owns the original 1983 arcade, and who is willing to lend us / rent us the arcade for the next 3 months while the game is being completed. As the DS version needs to be 101% arcade accurate we need the arcade for comparisons. We offer full reimbursement for the shipping of the arcade, and also offer FULL CREDITS in the final game in a SPECIAL THANKS section in the credits list. Anyone who owns the 1983 arcade and can lend it to us will be immortalized in the DS version!

Development itself is going great! It plays amazingly! We have listed to all the feedback (we got hundreds of emails) and priority is SINGLE SCREEN but, Dual-Screen is there TOO as an OPTION. But its obvious the fans like single Screen better, so we listen and focus on that. It plays so darned fantastic right now!! ;-)

...Any chance of seeing 'Space Ace' for the DS?

If 'yes', I may have to invest in one...;)

no date but :

"we are developing Dragon’s Lair 2 and Space Ace immediately following the completion of Dragon’s Lair"  -United Coders-

...which it sounds very good  :P  :o
