Tour´d Danish Arcademuseum.
« on: February 13, 2011, 01:25:07 PM »
Just returned from a round trip to the danish arcade museum... and thought i´d share some pics :)  :spaceace:

My friend playing Wonderboy in Monsterland (It rewls! and reminds me about the lovely A500 times!!!)
The game is hosted in a generic cab.

A little view of the machines....:
They are arranged in this order:

DaLar75 giving it a go on Defender....

Mystic Man..... hmmmmm....

They have a original Pac-Man, The text is in Danish - the only PCB known to exist..!

Then i spoke to Eddie and Rune who are running the place, and i was lucky to get a tour!
Here´s some beautiful pictures, and i bet some of you have seen the machines before....  ;)
1st. very nice Depthcharge (the one from )

Beautiful Meteor, guess where this one have been before...  ;)

Another beauty!

PONG clone

WOW! very beautiful, note that there´s no light behind the marquee!!!

MCC! this one´s from H......

Zakaria Space Fortress - another Vector!

That´s it guys - of course there where more beautiful machines on the tour, but they where for my eyes only (for the time being  ;) ;))

As far as i know they dont sell their machines, Eddie told me that last time I was there, but try sending them an email - they are really nice people who dedicate a lot of time in their museum, and do their best to keep machines alive.

they are a nice shape. they were quite common when i was a kid, the local burgerjoint had 4 of them, the company who made them still exists, but they only make fruitmachines nowadays.  :-\

I was thinking of you and asked if i could take a picture of it ;) - but sorry to say.
It´s a museum so they don´t sell anything...  :)

I think it´s 60/40 to the generic side... (Dark side  ;D)

that meteor and MMC where andre's right ?

Yep, they bought them from him last year  :)

Hah, good to see "my" machines back, but why is the MC unplugged ? It was running PERFECT when they picked it up....
It is good to see they neatly installed the vinyl I had given with the machine for the kickplate ! :)

Looks like they didn't get the Meteor running yet....shame....it was running when I had it in storage but died after moving it into the gameroom...

They are nice people but indeed they told me very firmly that they never, NEVER sell a cab.

Sorry Belike.....but very cool to see another very rare Euro-vector !!!

Is this far from Billund ? Would be nice for a Danish holiday (Legoworld for my son, the museum for me ;) )

I was thinking of an exchange for a different Zaccaria, but I guess it has a nice home in that museum! ;)

Thanks a lot for the pictures Muerto!
I like that Hockey TV cab a lot too, just like pong's red brother.
The cabs from liquidx must be somewhere in the repairshop too.

But if you are going to legoworld (or the museum), call, pb or email me, i live aprox. 30km from legoworld ;)

Both of the machines are working, in fact all of the machines there´s pictures of are working - there´s simply not room for them atm....
