exactly,  that is the way to go if you dont have the original parts
if you find them you can always put that in

Yes use Daphne, 100% accurate  ;) And it can emulate the Atari euro board, hurray  :)
Or you can mix the two worlds : using a computer to simulate the board but display the picture via a real laser disc player, hooked to your computer (I've done that for my Space Ace).
Believe me or not, but I've never seen an European Atari DL board for sale somewhere since many years... So Daphne may be your only way to go at the end.
You may use a Cinematronic board, but you would have to transform your euro DL to the US version, adding a score board (and so modify the cabinet itself ), use a different LD player... I wouldn't do that!

Hi Phil,
I would restore it using original hardware.
If the board is missing, you can contact Oll (see previous message in this thread) or this italian seller through eBay. He should have some spare boards for sale.
For the laserdisc player, I would recommend using a LaserCon conversion card and a european Pioneer PAL laserdisc player, such as a LD-V4300D for example.
Over at d-l-p.com we have modified ROM images that allow the use of Software Corner reprinted laserdiscs, which are hopefully laser rot free and will play like new in your machine. Just keep an eye out on eBay and I'm sure you'll be able to buy either disc and laserdisc player. You need a bit of patience but at the end I'm sure you'll be pleased.
Good luck,

Matteo

I recommend buying a repro Software Corner laserdisc and use the modified ROMs in your game. Here's an (expensive) example.

HMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm... may have been a VERY NICE deal this your, forcefulfil !!!
Teo, could this be a Software Corner "1st press" LaserDisc ?
I mean a Philips disc with the SC adhesive pasted above the original...
Dunno, but the surface of the disc......... MAH ?!!
:)
If "YES", then forcefulfil could be the owner of the only probably un-rotted Philips Dragon disc (if the seller tells the truth, the disc is unused !) ... :D
( I think we all hopin' it ! )
