WOW that must be about the highest price ever for an arcade video game...

Seeing how much sometimes is paid for a single game cartridge for a home system, this price isn't even that crazy.

I think this might be a trend....prices are going up as time marches on....

I think prices are at their max now too.
Don't you have the feeling they will decrease in the coming 5 years though?
The target group (children of the 70's/80's) will then be a bit too old and the new guys won't be interested in our old games... I guess...

I wouldnt want to bet on falling prices. I think they were too low the last couple of years. The main factor driving prices are people who can afford to pay more. And I have seen really high prices for some games in the US (not on ebay) and they sold! Jukeboxes are not out of fashion either and people that grew up with them could be my grand parents by now.

If there is some World Wor 3 action or something, this might turn out different though  :pac: :pac: :pac:
Looking for a container. Doesn't matter if full or empty. Doesn't matter if working or complete ... And all things Exidy!

Yeah well if we'll ever get a WW3 than the value of the games is (about) the least I care about....

Don't see that happening though....as long as we can keep the germs of the world at least a bit in control....

I think along the lines that Love mentions. You see that younger people are still interested in these games (see events like Eurocade/RGE 2013) on one side, and people who get older usually get out of the costs of kids and have higher incomes and thus more money to spend.

On the other hand, the games are getting more rare, not saying they are still being butchered (which I'm sure still does happen without us knowing) but the one's that are still around will get into collectors hands more and more and less and less "warehouses" etc. will happen.

Outrun 1 eur
http://www.ebay.de/itm/SEGA-Out-Run-fur-Bastler-/231097712472?pt=Automaten&hash=item35ce7f3f58

Why do the Out Run cabs go for so little money in Germany? (126€)
I bought mine there too (thanks to Ully) and it was also very cheap.

Watched it, too.
Too far in the East, bad ending time - and that's probably the low price (besides not in working condition).Seems to be complete though - maybe just a quick fix.

Last year I would have lived 20km away but now after my move its a 400km drive one way.

Prices in Germany mainly depend on location - you can't get through the whole country in 3 hours like in the netherlands :-)

Thanks for the explanations.
I had mine delivered from Germany to Belgium for 150€ so 400Km will never stop me  ;)
