Yes, indeed  :spaceace:.
Interesting  :P!

edit : it looks like a Robotron conversion, a bit weird!

?? THe Euro/UK Joust and Robotron were in the same cabs.

My first thought was that it's indeed a Robotron conversion. I'm not 100% sure but I think our Joust has the ostrich on the sides!?! But I think our Robotron has the 2084....hmmm...

Of course AndrĂ©, but have a look at the sidearts  .
O LOL, stupid me I hadn't looked at the pictures on the actual ebay ad !

Mmmm, notice that there is no 2084 on the side.....so maybe this was a factory thing ?

I don't know which game was released earlier, KLOV says 1982 for both games....

Notice the Joust bezel is missing.

[Edit] Thorsten you are right our Jousts have the ostriches. Maybe the artwork wasn't complete yet during production and they wanted to get out the machines ?

Of course it could also be an after market conversion but it would be rather weird for two games released in the same year.

I'd kill for this one ;)

Would fit great within my row of EM games.

It's called Sky Fighter by Mutoscope: http://www.pinrepair.com/arcade/skyfigh.htm
1940 should be more accurate as the flyer mentions the New York fair which took place in 1939.
