Tonight we will go to a concert, where the music of Star Wars and other classic movies from the 80's (E.T., Indianan Jones, etc.) will be played by a Symphonical Orchestra. There will be also a large projector with scenes from SW and a live lightsaber fight.
I will try to make some sneaky pics, videos. ;)

I would love to see one of those "video game music done by a symphony orchestra" gigs...

Lol, they played the main theme of Hyper Olympic/Track & Field from Vangelis. :D
About the show, it was in the top 5 experience in my life, there was more than 200 artists on stage, the symphonical orchetsra and a huge chorus.
Some pics was made before the show :D

We could catch the 2011 winner of the hungarian X Factor, Zita were extremly happy. ;)

It was a 3.5 hours long concert and they saved the best (Star Wars) for last, but the other musics was also amazing like, Indiana Jones, Shrek, Harry Potter, Apocalypse now, Jurassic Park, etc.
Unfortunately my fu....g phone was broken in the best few minutes, when Darth Vader came in and tried to conduct the orchestra for playing the main theme from Star Wars, but he was failed. :D
After all, I can make some vids from different scenes from SW, they are a bit dark, but worth a look. ;)

SW 3D seems to be a huge flop around here....Although I recently still saw a commercial for it on TV, I checked around and it is not anymore in the big theaters in the Rotterdam area...Only Amsterdam and one more place still are screening it within a couple of weeks after release.....How about your area ?

[EDIT] Just found it was still running in a bit smaller cinema (Arcaplex in Spijkenisse) but it looks to be just for the spring holiday this week, only at day time one screening...)

Think I might still go with my son. He loves it and has never seen it on the big screen so what the heck....

Same here, seems like a total failure, after 2 weeks, just a few cinemas screening it, the latest performance is 16.45 in the afternoon. :D
It is just my 2 cents, but why do people think, that a crap movie will be better in 3D?

MMmm, I see SW (any SW movie) as a brainless amusement piece. So I never had that high hopes of The Phantom Manace or in fact any other before (after, whatever).

Its like a ride in a rollercoaster...switch of brain and reason and enjoy the ride. Thats why I probably wasnt disappointed by any of them ;)

It still beats having to go to Alwin & the <f-ing> chipmunks 3 !!!

Funny to speak about this today... look what I had for lunch, one hour ago

The guy told me not to miss the Darth Vader one, available only 4 days, starting from the 1st of march!  ;)

...and here is the time to try the famous 'DARK VADOR' (french name for 'Darth Vader')... only available four days!

Thanks to my geographical location -I'm living in Belgium, close to the Luxembourg & France border- I can try this burger in a France QUICK restaurant. For some reason that exclusive burger is NOT available in Belgium & Luxembourg. So today I got this excuse for a 'family' lunch there...  :P
Anyway, here's the bad guy menu

... recognizable with its bread color : BLACK

Inside, it looks like an 'improved' GIANT (tm) ...

It supposed to be the spiciest one! Nothing is enough spicy for me  Ok, let's try it  :P

I was skeptical about this black bread, but it's tasty... not my favorite burger, but it worths the try... of course if you're a true Star Wars fan at least  ;)

Bring this with me as a memory  8)

I feel the power of the Dark side now  ;D
