[Roadtrip] DK Table Delivery without Keys to the storage..
« on: October 05, 2010, 10:15:17 PM »
After i sold my DK table, i agreed with Ckong to deliver it to his storage in rotterdam
I pass there every day to my job, so that was not a problem.
It also gives me the opportunity to meet Andre (Level42) and visit his gameroom, because andre has the key to the storage facility.

After the loading wich i did when i brought my Crazy kong to my mother i head for work

Usual stat picture..

Welcome to holland during rushhour.., 10 minutes on the road, Traffic jam already  >:(

I am later than normal, so i never have traffic jam at this point, but its just the cars entering from a different highway, so it was just a delay of 5 minutes..

Here is everybody driving again..
Hey ! "Ridderkerk" , not yet etienne!, first to your job..

And again the advisory signs above the road indicating a traffic jam...

Ahhh, i see it , the bridge was open..  >:(

Stat pic , arriving at work..

After a day of work, the table is still safe and sound in the trunk, in the parking..

Lets head to Level42..
not too far according to my navigation.

A little traffic jam again, but i am get used to it  ;)

The famouse DK wall in the gameroom of Andre..

Andre playing mrs pac

Time to go to the storage
Andre brings his tool , because maybe we need to move some stuff around..

Arriving at kubus storage facilities, Andre discovers he forgets the key  :o

There was a football match, and we could listen the supporters while we where waiting for Andre's wife who came to bring the key..
Thanx again Wilma !

Time to unload the Table..

As you can see there is not so much space left in the storage, but the table fitted nice..

Time to go again, we spend some more time than planned so i drive home from the storage location, instead of returning to Andre's place

Another shot of the stadion

On the way back, i putted some "monkey music" to remember the "ape" that i just brought to the storage of Ckong

Thats the end of the story for now for what my table's concern, the proud new owner is now Mr CKong!

total KM's ...   don't know , forgot to take the end stat picture  :D

Thanks Etiènne, for bringing the table to my storage, much appreciated.  :spaceace:

The table will get a nice place in my gameroom, after some TLC.  :)

It's also nice to see that a pinball machine found its way to my storage, I always wanted one, and now I have one.  :D

I always love to take a peep into arcade storage rooms (maybe because I don't own one (yet)).
It's always make me think of pirate treasure stash. I see some nice ones in this one too, ckong!
Thanks for sharing Etienne  ;)...
