Generic cab' inspired by Dragon's Lair II ?!

I went this afternoon to an arcade friend who's asking me if I want to buy a Dragon's Lair 2... empty cab for a very very very cheap price of course (no monitor, no side arts, no original control panel... ). He knows that I'm a DL Fan and I'm able to give it a new life in my Lair :-)

Ok so I got this unique picture before doing overthere :



...I don't really give attention to that picture... at the first sight it looks like a Dragon's Lair II cab... with a lot of work to do in order to give it a new life  
My idea was to use this cab and apply the Space Ace 91 convertion kit (which  I partially have : maquee + control panel)

Ok, so at location, I discover that this cab is NOT a dragon's Lair II cab    :

For those who can't really remember the Dragon's Lair II original cab, here's a picture of mine, with the differences...



There no inscription on that generic cab... no manufacture name at all. Some of you already see such cab ?

The shape general shape is close to the Dragon's Lair II cab isn't it ?

Any idea 'bout the origin of it ?

                  The cab you have there is a dungeons and dragons cab. I found one on e-bay if you want to see the original cab. The item # is 170061472242 it ends in 22 minuets but you should be able to still pull it up.

KLOV website doesn't show that cab on their description, but it  doesn't mean there are right    They shows something like a generic cab too, have a look :



 

In my opinion, it is most probably a generic cab, maybe done to fit better games from a manufacturer ( CAPCOM by exemple ), because there is no manufacturer name at all on the cab.

I am always liked this cab    

I had one to restore but I have given him because I didn't have space in my garages  

I think that DL2 had been born as generic cab
 the cabs of the lelland resembled him

in Italy it produced them the elettronolo but she has converted them all in recent games


they were a lot similar to those lellands and atari but those served as the eletronolo they got off him in 2 parts for the transposed one

I have discussed a lot with the people of the elettronolo but she doesn't want to sell me an empty cab

I'm sure you know the guy where that generic cab is      

I've empty place now for 1 or 2 more cabs  

Once the Pac Man conversion will be finished... only one more place  

By the way, do you progress on your Galaxian rennovation ?
