As of right now, the servers are still going, so if you're at home... you can still play for a little while longer? Microsoft is no longer supporting the original XBOX games or their LIVE support. It was supposed to go off-line last night.. but I played all the way untill 3:30 am untill i was soo tired. (and have to get up for work) It's like a dear friend dying.. I know that sounds goofy.. but I've had so many great games, fond memories and friends I've made online through Halo 2. I wanted to stay online 'till they pulled the plug. Well the only way now to enjoy all the fun of Halo 2 is to have LAN parties. It was a great ride while it lasted! Bungie even put funny messages in the pregame lobby for you to read while you waited to enter matchmaking, like:
