I have the Arcade Mania and the SuperCade. The first is a must read before visiting Japan, the second is a nice made book with lots of nice visuals and information about the key games until, the cover says it, 1984

:D I just bought some books from Amazon UK:

Supercade: A Visual History of the Videogame Age 1971-1984

The Ultimate History of Video Games

Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2010

Rogue Leaders: The Story of Lucasarts

Arcade Mania: The Turbo-Charged World of Japan's Game Centers

Vintage Games: An Insider Look at the History of Grand Theft Auto, Super Mario, and the Most Influential Games of All Time: An Insider Look at the ... and the Most Influential Games of All Time

and a DVD of The King of Kong, for only GBP 4 (I lost the original copy of my backup somehow  ;) )

So I have will have some nice stuff to read soon, but I saw in the replies above some other must have books. Unfortunately they were not in the listings of Amazon UK.

I also have Arcade Mania, it's a short book but very fun to read. The utlimate History of Video Games is also really great!

I just finished reading the Ultimate History of Video Games, it was nice to read with some great stories in it which I wont spoil here, although sometimes it was a bit too corporate focussed; with lawyers, lawsuites, profits, turnover and CEO's.

I am wondering if ArcadeFever is a nice book :pac: :ghost: :ghost:

I also thought that, by reading 2 reviews of it on I think it was bol.com
I have ordered it too. Seems like a great book and it is Nuno/Ully approved
