Mac Dog is an amazing game ! Really good on cdi, and for Dragon's Lair / Space Ace on cdi, you can't go wrong  :) The video quality is the best one ( before the DVD release of course).
There is only one bad thing 'bout these cdi releases : there is no sound when you're making a move... so it sometime difficult to know what you are doing, what's wrong, what's good...  :?
I hope you'll win the games  :P
If you want to try Dragon's lair or Space Ace, I strongly suggest you to get the 20th anniversary edition on CD-Rom... few bucks on the bay.... very good... not 100% arcade accurate, but you'll able to show and play the games in a really good condition
...and If you really want it 'Arcade Accurate', I can help you to emulate it with Daphne Emulator... or maybe you can buy a Dragon's Lair cab for your wonderfull game room too

this system is from magnavox, a little more compact compare to the original phillips cd-i.

it came with 20 games, but here are the 4 most important...

i love the game mad dog....
the game play is not that easy but very fun...
actually i play the arcade game once  :) a long time ago at a fairground .

7 guest is also a cool game....

Yep,since I collect all consoles,a CDI was very easy to buy and very cheap, because I live in the Neterlands. 8)
I have about 30 games for it.
Be sure to get BRAINDEAD 13 from READYSOFT,plays the same way as Dragon's lair!  :D

Old topic revival.  New to this board and thought I would bump this.  I'm a cd-i collector as well.  I remember watching the infomercials late at night and wishing I could afford one.  Years later I managed to purchase one with a few games off the bay.  7th Guest was the big reason I purchased a cd-i.  I love the game on the pc and it is almost perfect on the cd-i.  Just the thrill of watching 7th guest being played on a big screen tv is really nice. I've yet to snag a copy of Mad Dog McCree and Dragons Lair, but I'm on the look out. Other games I recommend are: Voyeur and Burn:Cycle

Thanks for the suggestion Ghost Soldier  :-*

I didn't have the chance to own a CDi system back in The Days... But I got one few years ago in order to test Dragon's Lair & Space Ace of course   :)

...And a I've discovered an interesting game : Kether  :-*

It reminds me the game 'Starblade' : you're flying in a pre-calculated path in 3D.
...but Starblade is far better of course  ;D

See this Kether Attract Mode Video, and go to the end of the video for some 'in game' sequences of Kether  :)

I may not be in the right place, but I was wondering if I could get some help.  I have a MacBook Pro OS X version 10.4.11 and I recently purchased a 3DO cd of Dragon's Lair that runs on a Mac.  However, when I load he CD it says it can't be played on this computer.  I was wondering if there is a tool or an emulator I can download to be able to play this.  Any ideas?

you might want to get the Zelda games as well if you are a nintendo collector.

There is an emulator out  there...

you need the biosfile to run it, but thats foundable on the net too.

I've had a CD-i in the past, i can look if i still have my disks, if i found them, they are available since i dont have the cd-i player anymore

as far as i remember, i have:

Zelda
Hotel mario
Kether
Voyeur
7th guest
tetris
4 in a row
sargons chess
Lemmings

and a few i dont recall

i will post what i have here if i found them (need to look in old boxes in my attic.....)
