This is also for my good friend Béla:

I almost forgot how to do this ;)

Having an 130XE for copying is great because it can load an entire floppy into its 128K memory in one go (no floppy swapping :)) with this kind of special XE tools. This tool is a brilliant little sector copier. It also (optionally) formats the floppies during the write process, again saving a lot of time :)

Also, because I have installed a (Polish) Happy into my 1050 floppy disk drive the process is a lot faster than at a standard drive.

Nice, I had no idea how to copy files with Atrari computers, I guess it is a bit more complicated with the 800XL. :)
Thanks my Friend. ;)

Just some extra swaps....:) file and disk management is much easier with Atari (of course) since it is a bootable and DOS oriented system, unlike some other systems which I shall not name ;);)

You can always upgrade the memory of your 800 XL :)

Although copying The discs was actually quite a lot of fun to do for nostalgia's sake, I think Im buying this:

I already have The MyIDE cartridge of course, but lots of games don't seem to work with it.
I think this SD solution is more true to the regular style of loading games and thus probably more reliable.

It is possible to download huge files (for 8 bit standards) full of games.

Might be a good idea to get one too Béla, I still miss a lot of the best games on my floppies and you should really have them too ;)

Regretfully the price of one in a nice box is WAY higher so I'm getting a bare PCB I think.

Do note that this one has to be installed inside an Atari 8bit machine. It's not hard but still quite a lot of work to do neatly. Might be better to save for the complete unit.... Which is plug and play ;)
