Ebay iOS app not reliable / trustworthy!

Just experienced some very weird behaviour with the Ebay app for iOS. It seems to work on the local clock, instead of the eBay clock like the website does.
I was bidding on the item, and the seconds were counting down. 3-2-1-0... I had the high bid.
But then it returned to the main screen, and the auction was still open for half a minute. Sniper, bam, lost the auction. So between the iPod finish time and the real finish time was about 50 seconds. Really annoying. So never bid with the app! The website is much safer. I'm going to trash it with a no-start vote now.

Wierd, never had that problem here (UK) and on ebay.com (US)

Not sure if you downloaded the latest release but it's a major improvement, in fact, it's a brilliant app IMHO, and I just won an item with it.
In fact, I compared the count-down timer between the app and on the web and the timer of the app was AHEAD of the one on the web....

I too have the latest app, and the way it works is brilliant! Much more logic than the previous one!
And it works too, just ask Ully  (thanks man!!!)
