So I brought back some "toys" from the US that of course have US plugs. Mainly the iPad and my son bought a 3DS (still had money from his birthday back in March...).
Now, the iPad charger is called "duckhead" and has a nice set-up. You can pull out the top part (that connects to the outlet). Then you have a connector to which you can connect any standard two-lead mains cable. Works great, but doesn't look very nice. So I wanted a European duckhead instead of the US one..
Here comes Dealextreme:

For my son's 3DS I went with another, even cheaper solution:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/flat-to-round-power-plug-convertor-3529Can't get much simpler and look at the price...I ordered three...
Also ordered a HDMI cable. I have been looking at the regular pots where you can buy HDMI cables. The prices are TOTALLY CRAZY. Anything from 45 Euro and up !!!!! For a piece of wire !
So I chose this one, which looked pretty nice and I'm sure will work fine:
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/quality-1080p-mini-hdmi-to-hdmi-1-3-cable-1-4m-length-2649Yeah, I know some people will talk about "high quality cable" but let me tell you, a 1 is a 1 and a 0 is a 0 on digital cables. As long as they don't get too long, you're going to be doing great with these.
And it's only for occasional use (hooking up my HD camcorder to my - still to be bought !- LED Full HD TV

So the duckhead, 3 "flat to round" adapters and the HDMI cable for less than 10 Euro's. Shipped !
