Some fruit machines and a huge tabletop
« on: July 14, 2011, 09:16:06 PM »
I spotted these on our auction site and placed a bet of 1 forint just for the monitors and as "miracles can happen" I won them. ;D
The seller didn't have info about their condition, so it was a kind of fortune game. ;D

One of the fruit machine is fully working, it has a nice bright kortek monitor and it also accepts euro banknotes.
The other one has a faulty pcb and the monitor doesn't light up, but there are also a  lot of useful parts inside and I hope I will be able to fix the kortek also.

The third one is a huge ugly tabletop and it  has a nice history.
About 10 years ago, it became illegal to operate gambling machines and some smart people started to build videogame-gambling game combos, where they could  switch between the games with a remote control. In this case, the gambling game was built inside that wooden stand under the desktop. ;D
From outside it looks like an original Atari Tetris and it also has a nice WG monitor. :D

Unfortunately this cab is damn heavy, so I can't show you a pic from the inside atm.. :-\
I'm planning to part these machines out in this weekend, if anybody interested in some spare parts, I will post a complete list here. ;)

That tabletop looks like a microwave to me  ;D
Nice price for 3 working (?) monitors indeed, good job again, Béla!
