Few months ago a received this kit, bought on ebay :



a nice Donkey Kong 3 kit, the pcb is in perfect condition, the marquee is good, the control panel look like brand new, and the bezel as just a little scratch ...

the mission: transform my VS SUPER MARIO bros in dk3...

i bought the vs s.mario from somebody in miami, the cab was paint by the previous owner in whyte   :(



first, i mount the monitor in vertical position...



this is an original sanyo monitor, the sound amp is build on the monitor frame, and as failed few months ago.
i put a brand new sound amp build with a video inverter in case one day the monitor fail too.



i hack the vs mario harness to the DK3 pcb, a bit of work   :roll:   ...

then just add the rest of the goodies, and voila   :D



the game is really cool, i love it  :l: , i may paint the cab to is original color one day, but it doesnt llok to bad ....

Wonderfull Arcadefever  :o

DK 3 is a great game, I'm sure this cab' will be often switch on witch such game  :lol:

Regarding your pictures, the cab' itselft seems to be in a very good shape, so it deserves to be painted in the original DL cab' color  :wink:

Very good transformation  :P

Nope  :(  It ended at 530€ ...  :?  ...and I'll have a lot of expense in few weeks, so I didn't fight for that cab  :?
