weird that you just discovered the machine. it's the grail of 90's systems. with some nuts we tested, seeked rarest shmups games among tosec etccc. we have talked and found various answers to problems. there are numerous tricks on this loved japanese computer : overclock, harddrives, etcc.
and some nearly false urban legends. it was said that you need a 3-freq monitor. in fact loads of games run on 31k vga simple monitor, and many custom hacks/software hacks/menus exist to play the 15k games.
there are rare midi interfaces (years ago, i was the only european to have these extra things about it. at a point, just imagine two people on the world fighting on last 15minutes auctions of YJA for the only 2 midi interfaces shown from months of auctions ? a japanese mega fan of x68k... and me

)
yep the 3,5" floppy system. you just had to wait someone figures the answer

i always trusted on this. it's a korean guy who discovered the good way to refill floppies. easier than the 5"1/4 method.
there's even something weirder & unknown about it. none people is talking about ?!! there is a "stereographic" input on the machine ?! (as in Fm-towns, some games have the 3D stereo option)
there is even the only version of.... Prostitute maker

. imagine Princess Maker ?.. in a more trash way . but you need the mouse to play it.
mine. only got a couple of hours to test them. took very long to get them from YahooJapAuctions and i got to quit for a job for years away..
