If the bridge is done with a wire, you can simply cut it, of desolder it.
Many times this is a dipswitch or jumper, but i dont know your board.
normally the switches make contact with ground to activate, and because of that you can simply daisychain the ground from switch to switch, so you end up with one ground wire that jumps from one switch to the other like on my Crazy Kong harness:

Dont know if you see it good enough on this pic, but the green/yellow wire is the ground in my case.
