Arcade Lifestyle / Known Zaccaria games
« on: February 16, 2011, 04:15:20 AM »
Hi,
I've updated the master list of Zaccaria video games to add corrections, flyers and updated pictures (thanks Bela!).

If anyone here has seen other games, parts of games, marques, flyers or has photos of any Zac game that's not on the list (or has better photos of a game) then please let me know  ;D

Thanks,
Paul

I mean you may be able to ROM-swap "The Invaders" to "Dodgem" :)

"The Invaders" is completely different to the Sega/Taito/Midway 8080 CPU based Space Invaders platform. It's a small 2650 CPU based PCB.

The Dodgem looks like it doesn't have the original monitor - guessing the op converted it to run the 2600 in colour. Is it missing the game board as well? Rumour is that it's the same or almost the same as "The Invaders" PCB that's more common to get hold of. Likely the monitor is the same as The Invaders also. There's another rumour that a player selectable Dodgem/The Invaders dual game exists.

Cool!

It is a really great find - I've only ever seen a single stripped/converted cab in the last 10 years or so. Always thought none had survived so it's great news that one has turned up.

Yes, it should have the Hanterex B&W vector monitor, and yes the DAC's are on the PCB so it works with a standard vector monitor. It's also likely it's a straight board swap for Space Fortress (a.k.a. Star Castle).

Again, congrats on a great find!

Share the info here when you get it  :)

Well, almost impossible. This is what I have for the "complete" list of Zaccaria video games...

If anyone has corrections to this list, then please let me know.

Paul.

Duly noted - I'll see how it goes I guess. At least he'll be risking a neg on Ebay if he screws around.

Never seen corresponding side art myself and the flyer only has a front view.
Still, what a front view that is. Hmmm, yummy.

Only in so far as it leaving the surface all yucky in a way that's hard to get back to normal. Some cleaning materials can make the plastic cloudy, rough or dull.

As was said, the art is printed on the back so you don't want to mess it up any worse than it is. Test it out before hand.

You could also just leave it as is. Probably aren't many arcade games that don't have cig burns on them - part of the real arcade experience :-)
