New step yesterday, swapping back R68 & R68 and crossing finger to have all colors.

now I adjust the green pot.

Better now

I need to fix the top of my home made bezel and adjust the picture on the screen (X size) but the end is near !!!  :spaceace:

Still sound issue of course.

Last week I decided to do another test, I was advised to try is to modify the deflection board.

The purpuse is to swap two of the color signals. swap the red and green going to the tube, and if i don"t have green on the tube, the conclusion is there this is the tube.

So I must to lift the left sides of R67 and R68 and cross them

And ....

GREEN ::::: :spaceace: :spaceace: :spaceace:

Of course colors are not so accurate I do not touch the pot, I touch nothing to tell the truth.

So very good news finally it is not the tube, but I don"t know why and i am afraid of touch anything now.

Little update :

After a lot of work on the HV board, still nothing, so I decided to send it to someone who could find the issue and repair it.

The result is beautiful, better than a new one really awesome :spaceace:

Before

After it worth every $

In the meantime I installed a fan in the cockpit.

And try to fix the sound issue too find a tms5220 - speech synthesizer used in a few atari games  - with some broken leg but still no sound after socketed and replace, I do the same with the TL084"s on the pcb board. not better some popping sound sometimes it depends how was the pcb in the interconnect board.

So after power on still on color missing

Unable to find the settings with the pot to have all the colors without seeing vectors

At this point after all this time, I thought I had a issue on one gun on the Amplione, the green, and the only last solution was to try to rejuvinate it.

Before I check all that I could. continuity, bad contact on main harness betwween the PCB and the deflection board and I went to Atariland to test my game Pcb in another Cab.. the PCB is working fine.
Still One color missing, by why me !!!!!

today it was the first time i saw this on my cockpit  :spaceace: :spaceace:

Things done :
Rewire J105, and verify a lot of soldering, J103 for example.
but after that I only decide to move pot  R79 & R76 for X and Y size.

But after shut down and power on another time to verify the test mode another half picture but horizontal this time.

Edit it's ok now explanation was bad soldering on Q5.

yes this is the end, the end of the cosmetic parts, with the large T-molding on the top.
But before that, let's see if the huge work on the hand made bezel is well done.

It seems to be quite good, some nice reflexions isn't it ?
Can wait to see the whole picture !!

T-molding

And finally more than 7 years after picking up :spaceace:

Still half part of the picture, I am waiting for some components to try to fix it.

In the meantime, still small but time consuming part to do, the bezel, remember totally home made  :P

on location to take and verify the size.

Finishing the work and paste the last part

A little few adjustment needed before close the cab

yes not easy to find one as I said at the beginning of this thread.

On Saturday with my friend Atarimania, It took 3 hours.

It is not perfect, difficult to perfectly center the side, but the result is great I think, I am not able to say how many hours i spend on this machine, but i am sure a lot.

After installing the t-molding

So I can really say  : I save it !!  :D  :spaceace:

Time now to install everything else on the cockpit, monitor, PCb's etc.

Before I check the pictures I made in 2010 to install the monitor, and do the same, but it is not correct so i must flip it.

When I power on the first time i only have one basic dot on the center of the monitor, the PCB's game weren't powered properly.

After checking all voltage and little work on the power brick I finally have the PCB's game running.

Here is the status of the voltage on the J5 connector, game PCB's not plugged but everything else yes

I have this

Red lead to pins 1, 2, 3
Black lead to pins 4, 5
17 vdc unregulated so it is ok

Red lead to pin 6
42 v instead 36 a little high but it is without plug the pcb boards

Red lead to pin 8
Black lead to pin 9
I have 15 v instead of 6.3 vac

Red lead to pin 10
Black lead to Pin 14
5.15 v instead of 80vac I have no pin in 14 position.

Red lead to pin 11
Black lead to pin 13
28 v instead of 65vac

No sound, for that I test 2 years ago my PCB's on an upright cabinet, all seems working but without sound so it is not a surprise, this time I have the demo scene I think on a vertical line.

thank you all for your message.

No not drastic and I think it is Under the reality, it is unbeliveable to act like this with a customer, it's too easy to write a message to show compassion while it is not,
And I received nothing from TOG (coupon or nothing else)

Here is the status today before applying the sideart I hope before the end of this week.
