In the netherlands we vote again with red pencil (why red? That isn't politically neutral). The voting machines could be read out from 2 meters with some high tech equipment the size of a fridge. Now THAT is a serious treat to democracy (NOT). But anyway, our obsolete voting machines can only be reused as big Videopac keyboards I guess.

In the USA on the other hand, the flawed voting machines get much better re-use:

I bought a Videopac 7000 this spring for an apple and an egg, with 30 games or so, but the unit itself was stinking like a smoking pub. Then I found out Philips made another console for the games, with the familiar Vectrex B&W tube built in. It's called the Videopac 7200. Awesome unit, got one in very nice condition.
This is how it looks, I will post my own soon.


Only problem is the joysticks are nearly dead, so I want to use the G7000 joysticks on this one, but they are hard wired. Does anybody know how to connect DIN plugs to them?

What did a pacman-cab cost in 1980? Al examples welcome. Please both EU (read guilders, dmarks and francs) and USA prices.

MameOSX is dusted off again with a new update. Hey, they skipped version 0.125-0.134, and hop right to 0.135. Awesome.
Thought there are some maccies here, who might want to run a game of Galaga on them McBooks on the road.

Greatest news: Galaga 88 runs flawless on a G4 now (o wow, that is JUST what I was waiting for.... NOT)

About Galaga 88? Anybody knows a cheat on this? I can set Galaga to 5 lives with dipswitches, but the dipswitches in G88 are all hocus-pocus.

Always when I place my first post on a day, the site says I cannot post as I posted the last 30 seconds already. From that moment on, all buttons in the post window are locked. I have to copy my post with the menu (ctrl-c does not work), exit Firefox, restart it and then I can post.
Also it says I was logged in 38 minutes ago, where in real it is only 1 minute since I logged in.
Anyone having similar issues?
