wow that's a serious link!

a journalist friend of mine receives tons of wii and ds games for free (to write reviews), he spent a week scratching the postcards found in the games and answering the online survey then finally received this in the mail, it's cool:

Just seen this. It's a shame he thinks everything will go up in price. The truth is that everything WILL indeed go up in price, but so will everything else too like houses, cars, groceries, gas - it's called inflation.

An Indiana Jones pinball might be worth 10,000E in 20 years time but then the relative cost to the cost now after inflation may make it the same amount.

yes, and I also think future generations will care about a funhouse just as much as I care about peppy the clown nowadays (not very much).

Anyhow I will most likely have to be out of this bulk buy guys as I can't afford to pay normal prices at this time. I always like a bargain of course but I will pass on the games to let other people have them. I already see there is more people for Funhouse and Indiana Jones than there is machines.

Good luck to all!!  :spaceace:

seconded. if the price is not intriguing I give up too. I would pay 500 for the super sprint though, and like 300 for asteroids table or tehkan wc.

I love everything  :)

You seriously should take orders from rich guys who would like *brand new* games in their luxury villas

hehe I agree

problem is italian wealthymen prefer german cars/exotic women to 80s videogames.......

good find! western bar is one of my favourites! most of these casio games are very amusing and the speakes is noisy as hell...another good one is TRAP SHOOTING you know the one with the spinner to aim, excellent gameplay. imo the worst game of this series is kung fu it's a beat-em-up lcd game...unplayable but looks nice. one thing I don't like about casio games is the box, most of them don't have that cute japanese design like other makes.

never seen the epoch-man version of pak-pak  :pac: :ghost:...nice! I have three of those v-tech games for trade: water polo and diamond hunt (both loose) and deputy den in the italian box. if you like them send me your trade list...I am mostly looking for boxed nintendos  8)

that's a piece of history you found, congratulations.

I have this taito table missing the game board so I am looking for a TT block or zunzun block pcb or any breakout clone with the taito pinout would be great. I am willing to pay for the board + shipping to Italy by paypal or bank transfer.

Scary isn't it?

very scary!! but imo the sound is a bit too minimal, they wanted it to have the same sound of the videogame which at the time was very emblematic. it would have been cool if it featured a squawk & talk board...the texas instruments voice adds an eerie feeling to the games of that era. anyway SI is a real beauty and icon of the time...me too I have it impressed in my memory from when I was a kid (when I couldn't even stretch my arms to reach the flipper buttons...).

wow congratulations it's mint! I have one too but needs serious repainting. do you think your was restored with the stencils or free hand?

So just forget about a trackball, because although you probably can place your ship very accurately with it, it is much too slow to handle. Besides, (almost) all great SHMUP's originate from Japan, and should only be played on Candy Cabs, and they would look redicoulous with a trackball.  :D

you should ask tony temple's opinion about being slow with a trackball...

and there are official trackball panels for the astrocity and egret as well (made by seimitsu :P )
