I have underfloor heating and my bill is lower than before.
It is a new type though, it doesn't need heavy bases etc like previous systems, or need to be turned on at the beginning of winter and take several days to reach stable temperatures, we even have a wooden floor over it. Granted, the building is well insulated and we have "double flux" ventilation with a heat exchanger that means we don't need to open windows to air the place out, temperature and humidity are constant. The difference is really impressive. It's also nice not to have radiators taking up room.
Supposedly the problem with pianos and even some people (those with bad circulation in the legs were affected) are with the old system. I can't tell, I have good circulation and no piano
