Sorry for the late reply. The one I bought from eBay was functional so I guess I have found what I need :)

Hi!
I actually managed to get one on eBay. It is untested though so might not be functional. How much do you want for that one?

« on: February 01, 2018, 11:10:24 PM »
I know these are popular but I thought I'd give it a shot here. Anyone sitting on a spare 10529a logic comparator? I'd like the complete kit, at least w the unit, the self-test card, the universal card, the case and preferably the probes.

Hi!
I am looking to buy a Segasa Dog Fight but I don't want to rip the seller off. Any idea on what it is worth (working/non-working)?

EDIT: To clarify, condition is unknown except for what is in the picture. It should be complete but it is unknown whether it is working or not.

Added sprint 2 to the list of pcbs I am looking for.

This chassis came out of my french-built Atari Gran Trak-20. I can't see any brand or anything on it. I believe the same chassis is used in two more of my presumably french-built Atari cabinets (two of the Cherry kiosk modules from this thread: https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=7263.0). Is there any documentation on it?

That particular PCB is actually for the user Pinge. I will check with him.

Yup. A little bit frustrating but I don't have the space at home at the moment.

I tested the Super Bug pcb on my desk now at least. Does not boot. The reset pin is stuck low. I tried swapping it but same problem. Some chips have burnt and/or rusty legs. I need to spend some more time with this one obviously.

We did not get any leads from the owner. Actually, the three cabs are from two different places. Canyon Bomber came from one place in Sweden and Space Attac and Super Bug from another. Not sure if they have ever been part of a complete circle of six games. With just three they could be placed against a wall, forming a half circle. I do have a lead on a fourth cab though.

Status according to seller:
Canyon Bomber: Working
Space Attac: Shows garbage
Super Bug: Unknown

I did not want to turn them on without inspecting them more thoroughly first so I have yet to confirm what the seller told us. I brought the super bug pcb home in order to test it on my bench.

For a full circle i would need a total of six, so three more. I am currently following up on a lead for a fourth one. Then theres a rumour of a fifth one but i am trying not to get my hopes up. Will probably have to hunt to get a full circle for the rest of my life.

Games are (from left to right): Super Bug, Space Attac(k), Canyon Bomber. The Space Attac has likely been a ball-and-paddle game at some point. There is a small sticker taped over the word "balls" on the instructions on the bezel. I am guessing it was a Breakout. It has an original Sega/Gremlin PCB but a bootleg marquee "Space Attac" (without a K at the end).

These cabinets were designed by Cherryföretagen in Sweden. Either they were based on Atari blueprints for the "Atari theatre kiosk" or they predated/inspired the Atari theatre kiosk. Some of the parts seem to be from France, and it could be the case that the cabinets were assembled by Atari France entirely. During this time period, however, Cherry did assemble cabinets in Sweden too. Anyway, there's a small text in french printed on the bezel glass (some stamp from a manufacturer I think), and one of them has an Atari Europe monitor chassis, two of them have some other chassis that I have yet to identify but that is the same as in my french built Gran Trak 20.

In any case, Swedish/European arcade history :)
