yes  thought about it....but its much money ony for shipping :-(

to want or not to want - that is the question! nothing is for free!!!

Yes indeed, that is the question! I was looking for a DK and Gyruss cabinet for a long time and had to learn that it is almost impossible for me to find those here in Germany. So I contacted a KLOV member who found the cabs for me. The DK is restored, in mint condition and will come to Germany in c6 :) I had also to learn that those dedicated cabs are not cheap but I wanted them. Someone will say it's crazy to spend $1000 for a nice DK, but I think you guys will understand me :)

I am also waiting for c6, hopefully it will arrive until December ;)
DK and Gyruss would be the best Christmas presents I have ever had.

Hi Patrick,

thank you for the nice pics.
I was just standing next to the cocktail machine when you made the Space Zap record :)

Cheers, Damir

Hey everyone,

It was an awesome event, the eurocade 2014! I somehow won the Pac Man tournament that was going on. I used to play the game back in the day, but never on a real arcade machine. Well only a couple of times on mame machines. I was astonished by how well the stick of the Pac Man machines at the event responded to every small movement of the hand. Stuff that was nearly impossible to do in the past suddenly became easy. I'm not sure if most Pac Man machines are like this, or that the two at the event were just very well maintained.

Anyway at the end of the event I spoke to the owner of one of the machines and he directed me to this community. The thing is,  I'm kind of hooked to that wunderful piece of technology now.

So my question is, does anyone have one for sale? Peferably in the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium (driving distance, live in Amsterdam myself).

Thanks and hope to see you at the eurocade 2015!

Hi Kuros,

nice to see another "Jr member" on this forum since the Eurocade 2014 event :)

There is a Pacman for sale on Marktplaats, perhaps you could try to get it:

You could also ask a guy from this forum, his nickname is cebulba. I am not sure, if he has a Pacman for sale, but try it :)

I would also like to thank the RGE/Eurocade crew for this amazing event. It was the first time for me and I enjoyed not only playing those great games but also the conversations with some of you guys :)

All the rest / Hi

Hi,
I think it is time to say hello since I have been a "Reader" in this forum for a long time :)
I am 43 years old and live in Germany/Oberhausen. In the early 80's, my friends and me spent a lot of time playing arcade games you could find at every corner or we just watched others playing when we had no more money. I have made up my mind a long time ago, sometime I would have my own arcade machine. Finally one and a half years ago I started with the arcade hobby and I must say that I am addicted to it since that time.
In the meantime I have transported some machines in my basement (Zaccaria Scramble and Crazy Kong, MsPacman Galaga Class of 81, Sega Naomi). My favorite games are: Donkey Kong, Gyruss, Scramble, Time Pilot, Moon Patrol, all those classics from the early 80's.
Yesterday I was in Hilversum and enjoyed playing all those nice machines and was impressed about the condition of the cabinets. My absolute favorite in Hilversum was Gyruss and I played some games on Eric's nice machine. It was also a pleasure for me to meet some of you guys the first time and talk about the arcade hobby :)
Regards, Damir
