Do you by any chance have a list of everything that was imported? could be fun to see witch games it was Smiley

I wanted to do something, but it's around 150-200 different games (I stopped counting at 150 and the list was still long). It's too long to post it.

IT'S OVER !

C12 arrived last week. This was the last container I will do for DLF and I thought it would be good to post some words about it.
First to alert that I stop and second to share about this adventure - maybe some of you also have good memories or fun pictures.

Let's start with some few statistics:
- 7 containers (from C6 to C12)
- 326 games (including 11 pinballs and 3 jukeboxes)

- 56 owners, among which 5 people imported 50% of the total volume

- 9 countries: France (101 cabs), The Netherlands (66), United Kingdom (60), Germany (35), Italy (23), Belgium (19), Austria (18), Spain (2) and Czech Republic (2).

Most popular games (upright, cabaret or sitdown together):
- Robotron (6 cabs)
- Track and Field (5)
- Red Tent (5)
- Mr Do (5)
- Donkey Kong (5)
- Tron (5)

If we consider all version of a serie (ex. Pacman with Pacman, Ms Pacman, Prof, Pacland...), then we have:
- Pacman (13 cabs)
- Donkey Kong (10)
- Mr Do (7)

If we include the games imported by Thomas, I guess we are over 500 games in total. Which is quite impressive for something that started here with some goodwill and passion of a few people  shock

From my side, I am very happy to have done these 7 containers - it has been an hard job but I am happy it helped to bring many cabs for many collectors. The aim has always been to keep everyone satisfied and also to keep the original rate (without running away with the money).

I really enjoyed C6 and C7 with many collectors doing the roadtrip to collect their games. Unfortunately some never understood this was done on a cost sharing basis, not a professional activity, where everybody had to play the same game. From a forum fun thing, it turned out to become a postal service with people not roadtriping anymore - just willing to have the cabs delivered to their door "because they paid for it".
Personal situation and what containers became made me probably even happier it's finished. I have absolutely no will to do it again or even to help with next ones. I have been already asked, but I won't share my contacts and I won't help to organize anything.

If you have some memories, or pictures of the game nowadays (restored or not), that would be interesting to know what they became !

Any chance of having another container soon? IŽm evaluating to get some from Ken from uk-vac, and I rather to get the cabs in north France instead of UK. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but no Ken cabs are allowed to be delivered at COW.

It may take up to a year to fill a container now. I will update when it will be relevant.

John's Arcade mentions COW in his latest episode, right here (go to 1h44min44sec approx).

Useless comment... It tells about price going up but that is everywhere.

but I do have and Iraqi visa in my passport which means a whole world of pain trying to get in to the USA.  Well done "The Donald" for making the new rules!

This was before Trump. I went there last year and apply for visa because I went to Iran. It is expensive but I got it without trouble.

They did not ask for the dimensions and I could not find the information. But I think you cannot exceed 150cm length + width + height. Your seller can try to drop the parcel...
