Hey Guys,

For my website Hard--Candy.com I am looking for pictures and manuals of all Japanese Arcade Cabinets available. Right now I am focussing on the Namco Consolette. Do you own a Consolette and would you like to share the pictures / manual with me please let me know so I can update the database accordingly.

Feel free to have a look around on the website. The website has been created so everyone can add pictures, manuals, flyers etc themselves. But if you prefer me doing so please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Regards,

Pieter

With the latest update we now have 424 arcade locations on the map. If you have any more suggestions please let me know here of you can submit suggestions through the website.

Do you have have any additional suggestions for arcades in Germany or Northern Europe by any chance?

Haha I am fortunate enough to help the museum out a bit and they should be opening the doors in October so it will definitely get their spot on the map.

Any other suggestions perhaps?

The pinball museum is great and I am not even a pinball lover. But no, it does not fit the criteria for the arcade map though so I won't be adding it.

Although I now have more than 400 arcades on the map I am still specifically looking for arcades in Germany. Are there any (b)arcades around Hamburg and Berlin by any chance?

Do you as well have a list? Or switch to OSM instead of GMaps?
I have Google blocked for snooping prevention :)

Sorry, what does this mean exactly? What is OSM?

Anyway to catch up on my quest to map all locations in the known galaxy I am looking for more arcades in Canada. Currently there are only 6 (b)arcades on the map but I am sure there are more, especially on the east side. Anyone know any east by any chance?

I can help you with the dimensions, as the cabinet in the picture is mine. :)

You are wrong about the control panel not being original, although it is painted and hacked to use a spinner. I think I might have a picture of how it looked before on an old harddisk.

Get in touch with me by PM, and I'll try my best to help you out.

Awesome :D, I was trying to look back and found our conversation about it but could not find it so I am glad you found this post! I will drop you a PM!

As you might have noticed this project was abandoned by my for a while. The reason being is that I could not put a saw in the beautiful art in the end. Although it is pretty banged up I still want to preserve it. It seems I am getting some more time now to do another project so I want to pick this up again but I want to scratch build a mini. A while back I spoke to a person that restored a cab which I fell in love with instantly and that is the one I want to miniaturize. Problem is that I do not have the dimensions and could use some help with that.

This is the cab:

This cab was produced by Model Racing SPA Mini Cabinet (bad name for a cabinet as it is difficult to find any information on Google about it). The control panel on the picture is not original but I just love the looks, angles and colors of this cab.

So back to my question, does anyone happen to have the dimensions of this cab or of simular cabs?

Thanks for any help!

Pieter

    Deamon Bride
    Metamorphic Force
    In The Hunt
    Punisher
    Radiant Silvergun

    Elevator Action Returns
    Deathsmiles
    Dodonpachi Daioujou
    Mushihimesama
    Double Dragon
    Xain'd Sleena
    Spy Hunter
    Sunset Riders
    Shark Attack
    Donkey Kong 3
    Strider
    Breakers Revenge
    Air Buster / Aeroblasters
    Buta San
    Final Star Force
    Bubble Bobble
    Rainbow Islands
    Sprint 2
    Parodius Da!
    Gokujyou Parodius!
    Sexy Parodius
    Violent Storm
    Bucky O'hare
    All Points Bulletin
    Time Soldiers
    Crackdown
    Black Tiger
    Black Dragon
    Robocop
    Smash TV
    Shadow Dancer
    Shadow Warriors
    Point Blank

    Twinkle Star Sprites

And yes this is the short list... ... if you would like to see the whole list just let me know  ;D

Are there any games that we still miss?

All the rest / What is your second most favorite arcade game?

Hey Guys,

I am looking to expand my collection of arcade games and in the meantime I think I have a nice understanding of what the best and greatest games are. I am however interested in understanding what your second most favorite games are. In other words which games are still the hidden gems of arcade games?

Looking forward to your suggestions and it would be great to understand the reasons behind your choice as well.

Regards,

Pieter
