I might need a GAL16v8 to be programmed. This way I can play Ghouls and Ghosts on a Street Fighter CPS-1 PCB I'm after.

Is there anyone here that can and will do that for me?

Unfortunately it's 1500 km away from me, so no road trip but it will soon arrive at my house

I don't want to give it away yet, but Andre en Bela probably don't like it at all and it's HUGE

Hi guys,

I have this very nice Ladybug Wallcabinet I want to sell.  As you can see it's in pretty good condition (some of the green under the LadyBug  text has worn, but it's not that bad IMHO). I'm mainly selling it, because I don't really have a good spot for it.

It runs on German Marks, but I have it on freeplay.

Technical Area / donkey kong not working[fixed]

Hi,

I picked up my DK cabinet from Tyrems place. Today I connected the board and powered it up. It wasn't working :( :(

I hear the startup sound but the image is all messed up and way to small .

I measered the voltages on the board (edge connector) 5,03 V and 11.96V and checked the dipswitches.

I'm not really that technical unfortunately, but are there some easy to do checks I could perform?

I need advise what brand of caps are the best. Level42 names 2 of them (Panasonic, Nichicon), but are there more?

I can't find all needed caps from Panasonic, so I want to know where to go and where to stay away from.

Pls help me on this one.

I'm going to do a restore of my German Hyper Olympic cabinet (tx again King of Kong Bela). I consider to put new woodgrain on the cab, but I have no clue where to get this.

Can you guys help me out? Maybe the Dutch guys know an address in Holland or the name in Dutch (I guess it's just "fineer"?)

'EUROCADE 2O13' / Anunaki's RGE / Eurocade 2013 weekend

I had a great weekend trip to the RGE / Eurocade 2013 event, starting Thursday with the disassembling of my MK2 cab and ending today with the reassembling at my attic.

It started here, in pieces



My friend Laurent helped me from day 1 and came along with me.



No it´s not a cockpit



It slowly got back in shape

I loaned a car with a hanger hook and I rented a hanger to put the cab in



and we went to Beeld and Geluid



to put the cab in the arcade

Arcade Lifestyle / Fixing my Crazy Kong

Today I finally had some time get some new wiring in my Crazxy Kong bootleg cab. I put a Jamma harness in it so it can play all vertical Jamma games besides the CK.

After removing the old wiring and putting a switching PSU in the cab, it was time to connect the power , ground, coindoor, sound and video to see if I can could get CK running.

Well..... it runs great, with great pic on the monitor as well





Next thing to do is rebuild the upper piece of the cab and put some new contolls in it.

Technical Area / TV Ideal HELP

I've got a Hyper Olympic TV Ideal cab (tx again Bela), but I have a problem: The glass plate in front of the monitor won't come out.

It's probably glued to the wood that holds it, but maybe I'm missing something here.

Is there some special trick to remove it from the cab? I can remove the backglass/ mirror, but the plate won't come loose.

It's way easier to get the cab upstairs without the monitor + to work at the wiring, so I consider breaking it loose a replace it with a new one, but the bezel is on the glass so that would make thing extra complicated :(

I hope someone knows the trick, or can confirm that it actually is ment to stick or so.

Hi,

I've got a 25" WELLS GARDNER K7000 monitor I bought as a spare for my MK2 cab.

No I'm looking for a way to power it up (it worked great in the cab I pulled it out, but I couldn't get the PSU from the owner).

The manual mentions 120 VAC with an isolation transformer. So I need to get a stepdown convertor to get 120 V instead of 230, but I also need an isolation transformer.

Where can I get one of these?

Hi guys,

My buddy has this nice looking Taito Space Chaser cab. He bought it to put a 60 in 1 PCB in it.

We think it would be great to bring it to Eurocade, so if we can get the PCB we can do just that.

Unfortunately they don't come around much.

Does anyone here want to part of it for a nice price, or maybe just lend it to us during the event?
