1  General Chat / Electronic HandHeld Games & Vintage Toys, Home Consoles & Computers / PS2 regional buzz and singstar games on: June 29, 2016, 04:41:59 PM
I'm trying to get a full pal ps2 set and i'm very close. Only need a few more. But those are all country exclusive titles.
As i need all the help i can get i also ask this on this forum although it's an arcade forum, but all are games lovers so maybe someone local can help me out. :-)
So i'm searching for help from local collectors in finding the following playstation 2 games.

2  General Chat / 'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / Re: Rare White TURBO Outrun Deluxe on: December 23, 2014, 11:50:43 PM
and plays Outrun as well as Turbo Outrun depending on which pcb you insert.

I own 2 outrun deluxe and if the pcb's are interchangeable it would be great but does it also move with both games?
Would buy a turbo outrun board for 1 of the deluxe if it all work 100% when swapt.

For such cab I would say to my opinion around 400 500 € .

damn overpaid bigtime if that's the going price.  Cry
Oh well, it's my holy grail cab, so must willing to pay more for those ones I guess.  Smiley

Had the same experience with one of my outruns, worked just fine in 2013, then I turned it on last week because Level42 came by to check them out for eurocade and nothing else than sparks out of the flyback. How come?? No idea  Sad

Do you have to wrapp the cabs? When i got my outruns they weren't wrapped or had anything to protect them.

Yes, would be better because the cabs will be moved quite a lot in different stages before they are on place, and the same goes for the return route. And we don't want to take the risk of damages. It would be ideal if the games are wrapped when we collect them, we don't want to waste time protecting cabs tomorrow. Therefore protect at least the fragile parts.

Psst. don't tell this to anyone, but we will bring some bubble wrap with us, especially for you, and only for you!   Smiley

Thanks a million  Space Ace

I have some cardboard and those green plates that you put under a floor laying around. Can those be used for protection or is bubblewrap plastic the only way to go?

What time are you guys swing by? Maybe i can get bubblewrap (or is it something else) tomorrow before you guys come by.

Don't worry, ReBoot...we won't wrap the cabs before we load them into the car. Of course we will use blankets and stuff so the 'signs of age' don't get worse Wink

But that's the problem, the guys from Eurocade are going to get the outruns tomorrow if i'm not mistaken, so only tonight i can do a bit on it to get it ready, hopefully, just the bare minimum: screws and a lock and a littlebit of cleaning.
Hopefully not overseen other important stuff, like not having new screws or a lock. That was a stupid oversight of me.

Won't touch the main pcb for the dipswitches for freeplay, to scared to mess the working one up for eurocade, although it seems pretty easy to do. Let the pro's do it so it won't go wrong.  Smiley

j%^&$R Angry!   Always the same, when i need time i don't get it, this week was full of other shit things so i haven't had time to even screw the missing screws back in because i need to buy them still.

And seeing the other cabs all wrapped up for transport i remembered i don't have wrapping at home and need to buy those asswell but don't have the time to do so. The shop that has those wrapping in big bulk that anunaki told me is in another town. Can't get away from work before it's closed. F*ck!

Do you have to wrapp the cabs? When i got my outruns they weren't wrapped or had anything to protect them.

As you can see i'm not used to do these kind of things, i'm way over my head time/organise wise with this, SORRY guys! oppps

Hopefully i can get the needed screws and find a temporary lock because i miss one in one of the machines. Also remembered as i checked the keys that i don't have one key for the bottom part of one of the machines! so hopefully it's not needed else it needs to be drilled out.

Sorry to say, but I don't have the time and knowledge to get this fixed on time by me, so hopefully the working one will hold its own till and beyond eurocade2014. And one day I get it fixed.
The little time I have these few days I need to use to ready the working one for eurocade.

What were the requirements for the cabs again? Freeplay I remembered, but do I need to do that or the eurocade guys because I don't have that special switch. What else?

what kind of monitor is in there right now? A Hantarex Polo 25?

I think so. Here are some pictures I just took. (will shrink the pictures tomorrow, don't have the software at hand now)

just tought that that was the power cable of the monitor... NOT! Huh? Have to look again, how does the power cable of the monitor look like?

Powered the cab on, monitor still flashed so wrong cable unplugged, but now I know nothing else is broken. The cab still moves and the game starts because I heared the music.  lol

Checked the fuse

seems ok and because of above I think it's still good.

Here are more pictures of the monitor(frame)
The farthest screws of the frame are difficult to get out from the back (see red arrow in pictures) because they are in a very narrow place.

Seems the frame is from the original monitor setup and not from this polo.
So if the frame doesn't have to be removed but only the polo monitor then it is the question will the swap monitor fit the frame. And how difficult it is to swap the monitor I have no idea

The rgb cable plug
