Are you landing in Hamburg, Bomjac? Me and Slowcade will be going from there.

Thanks Ol, I will check with him once he gets back home.  :spaceace:

Still interested in buying this from the Eurocade crowd.

Yeees! It is closing in!!! Slowcade is coming to my home arcade this weekend to play games and to plan for the trip.

A couple of practical questions:
- We will be arriving late Friday evening. Around 2300. Will people be at the hotel or at the location at that hour? Will they be partying hard or simply sleeping?
- We will be staying at https://www.hotelbb.de/en/oldenburg/overview. Is this within walking distance for two 40+ men who are more into arcade than sports?

I want to buy a Taito Space Invaders control panel. Either for SI1 or SI2 as long as it is Taito and has the joystick hole. I do not need it populated - although I would be interested in a populated CP too.

I will be at Eurocade, so it would be ace if you can bring it there!  :spaceace: :spaceace: :spaceace:

I'm also selling the following stuff which I can bring to Eurocade:
- Taito Polaris control panel in very decent condition.
- Midway Space Invaders moon in decent condition.
- Unused Robotron harness to JAMMA adapter from Arcadeshop. Will only work on JROK, not 60-in-1.

I'm happy with anything, as long as I can do my twerking routine.

But seriously. When I try to come up with genuine music that has that arcade feeling to it, I tend to like synth stuff. A-ha, Talk Talk, Depeche Mode, Visage, Human League, Soft Cell, Gary Numan, Ultravox, Japan, Kraftwerk, Duran Duran, Blondie, Pet Shop Boys, Joy Division... hell, even Laura Branigan! Not the stuff that I listen to on a day to day basis, but it works when playing arcade games for some reason.

And perhaps I can do a kraft twerk after all!

Hmmmm. Nobody? Just be warned: the jukebox is already filled with the meanest fastest punk rock records from the 70s to present time. So if there are no suggestions we will leave it as is.  ;D

PLEASE DO! ;D

Hi Joerk, is there an official page or invitation somewhere?

I am at a point in my collecting where I am pretty happy with the cabs I have in my gameroom. The only type of game I'm really missing is a classic vertical shooter. So Juno First, Galaga, Galaxian, Gyruss or something similar that is just as long lasting and playable would be cool. But I am not in a hurry.  ;D

Great news! Oldenburg, here we come!

I think this video might hold the solution for you.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HASKqAOwLms

If it is not the colour transistors on the neckboard, chances are that you need to adjust the screen voltage on the flyback. Look at 12:55. When the voltage is high it can look kind of blueish I think. Either way, this is a good video if you want to adjust your B+ and do other tweaks to your Sanyo. I learnt a lot from it myself.

Oh, and don't send just the neckboard for repair. You need to send the whole chassis.

About the blue screen: I would suspect that this relates to the transistors on the neck board. Perhaps the other colours are dead, but more likely the blue cutoff circutry is not working either due to bad components or cold solder joints. If you are not confident in trying to repair it, I would send it right off to Gunblade/Grant Spain.
