i say lets move the bed and the furniture out of the house tonight for the bon-fire, and then you'll have room for 3 extra cabs!!  :P

i'm trying to figure out/ understand the layout of this room?!

when i'm looking at the room i see a doorway at the corner, but the photos you show where you are winching up the machines over the parked cars, the upper floor has exposed brick work.

so am i right in thinking that the games room is off to one side and not directly over the cars?? is the bit over the cars unfurnished?

man.... that's suck a bummer, i would be so pissed off. in fact, i'm pissed off for you guys right now!!

i guess that is also a lesson learnt, never EVER go to that kind of extent if the seller is not prepared to take photos of the cab from every angle. i was telling this to the guys on Fred's website, when people sell me a PCB, not an entire cab, i ask for photos of the pcb so i can be the judge of its authenticity... as people often claim they are genuine when they are bootlegs, or when people hard solder really ugly adapters onto them, that is a right turn off for me...

hope you guys have better luck the next time, it was the right decision to walk away. maybe you should have taken a dump on their door step before you left... that'd be the Killercabs attitude to bad sellers...!

wow!! check out that duplex garage conversion, it's amaaaaaaaaaazing!!!!!!!!!!! check out the double height doors, you probably need a giant to push them open if they were thick and heavy!!

are you sure the winch has a load of 400kg?? it looks very haphazard to me!! looks like it was put together with a bit of wood and some old rope/ belt.    think you did the right thing not to risk death with the pool table.

the conversion is just gorgeous, have i said that already?? i'd be a bit concern with the dart board though mixed with the kids. it's just so open and airy, lovely windows letting in plenty of light, and the feature wall in orange. i know nothing about interior design but i have to admire what your buddy has there.

now where's that worship/ i'm not worthy smiley?!?!

you keep buying these big cabs, surely the cost of land/ real estate where you are cant be that cheap?!  :?  :?  cool cab, never really played it that much when it came out as none of my local arcades had it... too expensive perhaps?

okay, lets see a picture of you and your wife lift that mammoth machine onto the trailer!!  :P  :P  impressive stuff indeed, sir, and a rather new game too to your collection. it must have cost an arm & leg. cant wait to see the next part of the adventure.

i like seeing what you've done there but i hope it's not a permanent fixture and daytona will one day go back into the cabs in a fully working state!!  8)

that's a bloody amazing photo story, thanks for sharing with us!! i get the feeling of incredible love you have for your childhood memories and the games you played when you were young!! same here!! but for me, all the arcades i used to go to are no more, all taken down or refurbished into other establishments. i still long to go back to the annual travelling fun fair back in my home town, but i know they wont have any arcade games there anymore, and the nostalgia wont really be there because of that.

once again, thanks for sharing! i'll try coming here more often.

ps- i know what the sound of those raised metal panel flooring makes when you step on them, they had them in the fun fair which i mentioned above. ah... such great memories!
