I will see what the samples are like when they arrive, perhaps I can get a piece for you when I order mine then ship it to you.

I think this is probably what you're looking for. I'm still considering laminating one of my cabs and will be getting samples from here. It comes in one large sheet, and is in 0.8mm thickness.

I think the issue is USA and Europe laminates have slightly different meanings, in the UK Formica is a term you'd use for the thin plastic-type coating, which is how I found this site.
It looks like you'll definitely be able to get the correct orange match too.

Hey guys, here's an update on what I can now offer, a new flatbed printer was installed last month that means I can now print on pretty much any material: plastic, glass, wood, aluminium and loads more. Any size up 1.25 x 2.5m so can even print direct to a full size cab if I need to!

The main thing I wanted to be able to do was perspex artwork, it's taken a while to get the settings just right but this morning I got the final samples done and I'm over the moon with the results.

So I can now start taking orders on perspex pieces, marquees, bezels, control panels & toppers are all fine, just let me know the sizes you need and I'll aim to get them turned around in 7-10 days.

All printing is done on highest quality, and everything gets a full white ink back just like the original screen printed pieces did back in the day.

Here's a load of pics to show the quality, the last 4 show the marquees lit from behind.

Update for some new things I've been working on. I know a few guys here will probably have been waiting to see these Playchoice 10 cpo's ready. These are for the UK/Euro version of the cabs which have a different design and layout to the USA cabinet.

This was just a test piece to check colour and fit. I'm getting a full batch printed this week with a textured matt finish.

Other new things include:

Rodland marquees.

Restocked all candy cpo's and Sega ones have been precut to fit HOT-2005 panels exactly with coach bolt holes trimmed as well. Have Astro City 1p & 2p, Blast City 1p & 2p, Naomi 1p & 2p, Swing 4p, and also AWSD 2p, and Egret 2 1p and 2p overlays.

Egret 2 side art I went back and did some more work on it, so now it has the missing halftone detail. Very pleased with how this looks now.

Other pieces include stock of the Sega driver seat scrivets to hold the back plastics on the seats, Turbo OutRun side art stickers, Electrocoin Neo Geo Sports Point cpo's, House of the Dead 2 side art, and Capcom CPS2 labels.

X-Men Euro cabinet cpo

Updated Euro Centipede cabaret cpo's

Sega Rally 2 side art

Space Harrier artwork

And lots of other stuff. If you want anything please pm me, write in the thread or visit my site in my profile link  :)

Artwork / Re: Arcade Art Shop - Big Sale Now On!
« on: February 23, 2017, 11:50:10 AM »
Hey guys, just giving a shout out that I've been sorting out all my stock as I've got new storage coming and am having a big clear out of stuff so have put some massive reductions on loads of artwork.

I've also completely reworked the postage costs, so they are now worked out based on the size of artwork you've bought, so small and medium size stuff won't cost the full rate any more. It will work out cheaper on everything worldwide.

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / OutRun 2 Repro Foil Decals
« on: February 06, 2017, 12:12:00 PM »

I've been trying to do these for a LONG time. The foil printing wasn't the problem, as much as the cost of getting them done which was always crazy money and would never have been worthwhile.

But now I've finally got the right print quality, on a lovely silver foil at a price around the same as these cost new when they were still available. All my artwork files have been reworked from my previous versions and I've spent a lot of time with my local printer to try and match the originals as closely as we could.

These are direct printed on to a high quality non-bubble adhesive silver foil, using 2 layers of ink on the very highest possible quality print settings. It gives them a feel much like the screen printed originals. We also boost some colour settings on the printer to make the yellow, red and green as vibrant as possible. They are then die-cut to match the shape of the original pieces.

A big thank you goes to Craig @ Giz10p who was kind enough to lend me his very last NOS set so that I could see exactly how they were printed, where the foil was visible or translucent, and get a good colour match and cut.

In order to get the prices sensible I've had to order a high volume of these, so I'll do 1 run, then once they are all sold that will be it.

There's lots of pictures below to show them in detail. I'm particularly pleased with the base lid decal, it looks absolutely beautiful when the light hits it.

Postage:

Decals will be sent individually wrapped and rolled in card mailing tubes, via recorded delivery/tracked and insured airmail. £4 UK, £11 Europe, £14 USA

Prices:

Dash decal, £18
Monitor bezel decal £16
Side panel line stripes (left and right, 2pcs.) £15
Base lid £18
Base sides (left and right, 2pcs.) £40
