Can I get a copy of the vector'ed marquee file to use with my 3dArcade model?

I'd like to see artwork for this too, I could use it for a 3-d model of the cabinet.

Oh, that's a bummer.  Well Syn, if you're reading this....or anyone with a Tac/Scan for that matter....that CP scan would really still be a big help.

Hello Syn, just wondering if you were any closer to scanning this?  Smiley

Wow, the artwork on that pin practically screams "play me!"  That backglass is classic....like an archetype of what pinball is all about.

I eagerly await, and promise to pester you at monthly intervals for status reports.

EDIT: Syn, I had totally forgotten that you had already told me about your Tac a year or two ago. Sorry man, I didn't mean to sound like a pest, just really looking forward to completing this cabinet as I have all the other ones finished.
10  General Chat / Artwork / Re: How to restore glass marquee art? on: December 18, 2015, 05:33:07 AM
Scan, clean up in Photoshop or vectorize it, print out on vinyl, apply to a new piece of glass as a translite, place original somewhere safe to avoid more paint loss.

Hello, I'm working on a set of virtual models for 3dArcade of the Sega Convert-a-Games and one of the last things I need to complete them is a good scan of the Tac/Scan cpo.  If anyone's got one they could scan, there's a great big thank you in it for you.  Here's a poor photo of it, which is about all I can find online, aside from a recreation that someone did that's not really accurate enough, a little too cartoony.  Thanks all!

Great find, congratulations.  I used to play the hell out of the American version of this game, "Bandido", when I was a kid.  Couple of years ago I was practicing to beat the Twin Galaxies world record, which was about 150k, and managed to crank out a best high of 387k.

Just stumbled across this thread.  Never heard of Space Chaser, but interestingly the CP is extremely similar to Taito's Lunar Rescue control panel:
14  General Chat / Artwork / Re: Atari - Asteroids - SideArt+Marquee - Vectorized on: December 01, 2014, 01:23:01 PM
Now that's a nice little bit of work!  Did you really individually vectorize every one of those little dots in the black-to-blue background fade?

Got it.  Thanks again Spinn, this will look SO much better than the photos I was going to use.

Do you want a scan of the marquee? If so I try to get you a hi-res scan as soon as possible.

The existing MAME Head-On marquee is pretty bad, I know I for one could use a good scan of it, if you make one.
