All the rest / Re: First dealer kiosk ever ?

This one seems to be older:

The ColecoVision had a similar styled kiosk. I assume the Atari 2600 one is older though...

Colecovision!  :-*  :-*  :-*

First computer I ever played with, still my favourite  :)

An American friend of me just posted this on his Facebook page. Pretty neat  :)

The Colecovision takes any standard 9-pin Dsub connector joystick/paddle compatible with Atari/Commodore so that shouldn't be a problem...

As an amateur Colecovision collector I'm actually quite interested in this. Who cares if it's not a designated CV game? I'm just glad that there is such an active CV community that still produces new cartridges with game. Bashing a platform because it "shouldn't have this-and-that-game" is something from the 80s    (Amiga is better than Atari anyway  ;) )

Reservations can be made via the AtariAge forum:
http://atariage.com/forums/topic/217084-colecovison-pongcomputer-space-boxset-reservations/

And apparently it already IS a big runner (whatever "big" on a platform like CV is these days), more that 100 people have already reserved a set..

Paula is the best soundchip. Period.  ;)

I *love* the demoscene, and especially what those coders can cram out of such old machines these days.

I couldn't code a single line even if my life depended on it so I'll just stick to creating some simple music on my Amiga  :)

Listened to it a few days ago as well. Sounds very nice, but I still prefer the original version. I recorded it from my Amiga to both sides of a 60 minute tape, and played it on repeat for weeks on my Walkman when I went to school  :)

Have you tried a hair dryer? It heats the glue so the sticker should come off more easily...

You could have easily fooled me there if you said it was an original. Very, very nice and clean job, well done!  :)

That's pretty rare. Regretfully killed by MAME and LCD......

At least the outside of the cab is still looking pretty good imho. Find a replacement control panel and cardboard monitor bezel, throw in a CRT screen and it's pretty much back to it's original looks...
