Hi Bruno,
Sure, but I am still working on it.
Here's a link to BYOAC where I have some pics too.
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=67361.0
Hopefully I can finish it up soon. I am anxious to start work on my next project!
Talk to you soon,

Hi Karcreat,
It's a shame that was what happened. Unfortunately theiy probably had little choice in the matter.
You sent in what is called an "Unsolicited Submission". 99% of the time these are disregarded immediately. There have been many cases in which an idea was supposedly "stolen" and then the fan has sued (even if they signed away a waiver).
Your best bet is to never contact the developers/creators until after you are done with your fan work. In that case it is considered "fan art"  and is in fair use (similar to a parody or spoof).
You do good work, don't let this get you down. Keep it up!

Hi Sonic,
A couple of things:
Again, congrats on this great gameroom you are building! I have been wanting to do something like this for many years but have not had the opportunity to do so. Maybe later this year I can work on something like this (doubtful, but I can still dream). I would like to ask you a lot of questions about this (mostly financial stuff, like how much does it cost to install, how are propery taxes affected by this, etc...)

My other question is since you are a big Sonic the Hedgehog fan, what do you know about a Sonic the Hedgehog redemption game that was made a while back?

Thanks, and can't wait to see the rest of the story.
Alex

Bonjour totos,
Mon Français n'est pas trop bon, ainsi j'écrirai en anglais.
You have several options to printing arcade art.
First, If you do not already have it, you can download a lot of stuff from here:
http://www.localarcade.com
They have the DK Jr. sideart, marquee and control panel overlay.

Once you have that you can have it printed out at a local sign shop on quality, laminated vinyl.

You can also purchase the artwork directly from sites like Mame marquees:
http://www.mamemarquees.com
They also do custom print jobs so you may be able to get everything from them.

It may end up cheaper to buy from Mame marquees than to go to a local shop (although for you with shipping that may not be the case).
Also, many places will not print out the artwork for you since all the artwork is copyrighted material.

Bonne chance!
Alex

Hi ElPancho,
Sorry I did not get a chance to power on the Baby Pacman this weekend. Too much stuff going on.
I'll try to get to it this week.
Now you have me worried about the battery. I hope my boards are not all corroded because of this!
Talk to you later,
Alex

HI ElPancho.
Congrsatulations on your purchase!
I bought a Baby Pacman almost ten years ago. I still have it and it's  a great game. It's a tough game because the pinball field is so small compared to a regular pinball game. It's a nice looking machine too. The machine can be a little problematic as some of the connectors oxidize. If it it a bit flaky when you get it home you may have to reseat all of them and/or clean the connector edges.
Make sure you get the side art if the game does not have it already as it looks much nices with it.
Good luck!
Alex

Hi Jason,
Good luck with the house! Quite a project indeed I'm sure.
When the machine is in a more presentable stage I'll put a new topic on the building of my mini DL!
Thanks,
Alex
