Galaxian Theater / Re: Galaxian Theatre 6 - Repair Help Needed!
« on: December 21, 2010, 08:37:47 PM »
In Regards to Galaxian, I think I need to install new projectors in it - I can't find the specs for the original projectors - however there is another guy who specializes in CRT Projectors in Vancouver, BC (close to me) and have a lot available for great prices - I have looked at the projectors inside but from where they are mounted I can't get a model # other than that they are Sony.

Where in BC are you?  I am originally from Calgary, but I live in the Seattle area now.

Arcade Lifestyle / Re: donkey kong missing wire harness question
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:37:04 AM »
A couple of months ago i bought a donkey kong cabinet from paul 50's.

The state of the cab is reasonable but still needs lot's of work. I've already got some nintendo t-molding (thanks andre) and robin is going to try to fix the pcb (4 board version). After that's done i'll have to give the monitor a new cap kit and maybe a some fresh paint.

But there is one more problem, the cabinet is missing part of the wire harness.
It's the part going from the power pc board (9pcpu, 7psou, 1opclk) to the pcb, as i mentioned it's the 4 board version.
Do you guys know where i could get the missing wires?

Got a picture?  I may have one, or can make one.

I have a set of control panels...

Thank you.  Been lurking for a while...  :)

The problem was a flyback.  replaced that and it all works great (needs a cap kit though).  $29 for flyback - $0.25 found in cabinet = $28.75  :D  (and I found a Chuck E Cheese token from 1983 too).
