That mystery plane reminds me for the F-117 stealth fighter:

Maybe the Invaders sent it to observe your operation. ;D

Yup, my exact thoughts too!

Didn't rate paperboy on the iPhone much, played it as couple of times and it never got loaded back up again.

There is a FREE cartoon version of operation wolf available on the iPhone and its pretty good!

I'm looking at capping my Rygar board (finally got one!) as it has developed a sound fault after about an hour of playing with it!

Will be very interested in your results.

All the rest / Re: Video game deaths

Of course,  the blow up of the Death Star in in Star Wars is complete VICTORY instead of the player's death....so that's a tiny mistake :P

Tell that to all the imperials on board at the time lol!

Great video, got nearly all my faves in there too.

Finny did have some left when I got mine. He had the pan of the actual Dragon's Lair itself, don't know if it got sold or he wanted to keep it though. Worth dropping him a note. Be prepared to pay mega bucks though!

This was a couple of years ago now. I was using AI CS3, on Windows XP and it only had 2GB memory back then.

I think I was running out of memory. The control panel vector was approximately 2.5 times larger in physical size than the marquee I was working on. Never crashed when I was doing my marquee. Only started crashing when I did the massive half-tone addition to the control panel.

I might try again now I have 6GB of memory and a massively more powerful machine. Still need to get the bottom half of the control panel scanned from someone though.

haha, it is a total pain in the ass!

Looks like you had just as much a pain as when I did it. I did manage to find a quicker technique where you put one row of dots (at the end of the bit you want to colour), then another row of dots and the other end and you can get AI to fill in the dots inbetween, massively faster! The simply shove a mask over the top of it.

I was doing the Rolling Thunder control panel and a massive bit of it is half-tone coloured blue. My AI kept crashing, I assume because of the sheer number of dots. I gave up on it in the end. I still also need a scan of the Atari Ireland bit on the front, to completely finish it, but can't get hold of one :(

Also, when half-tone colouring using that technique, the colours completely screw up when you enlarge or shrink the print size. They are only good for the exact size you are after.

What technique did you use for half-tone colouring the donkey and the man's boots?

Question: why didn't you build against V2? That way it was possible to have one big room.

He did.

I know it's still a long way off, but I am so looking forward to the reassembling of the Galaxian 3! Should be fun.
