Sorry for being late to the party, but I had to say that I almost forgot how much I missed these roadtrips!!

Any news on the restoration?

Same error here. Solved by refreshing and logging in.
Some of my pics are gone, but I think is because in the meantime hosts sites I used have gone.
Thanks Bruno for keeping this alive: I can still find my 10+ years old posts and recently I needed one of them for a "memory refresh"  ;D

This site was there in the golden days of the hobbie, youtube was not  :spaceace:

I will never have a Fluke 9010a, but is nice to see developments to keep these seminal instruments up to date

Thanks for sharing your mini roadtrip. The old glory days of roadtrips across europe to score a favourite cabinet have gone... and I am missing them  :'(

Nice to read all the "old" users in one topic having a chat, like in the old glory days  :)

Here in Italy cabinets are too much expensive (and rare) nowadays and this kills the fun for me. I still have my 10 cabinets in my garage (there's no room for the car  :D) and from time to time I organize arcade parties with my best friends.

The days where you could buy a cabinet for cheap, restore it or plan a nice new project are long gone unfortunately...

@muerto : do you still have your punchout? Is it working? I am still waiting your record in the dedicated section of the forum :)

His videos on chassis repair are masterpiecies. It would be fantastic to see a class of his here, in Italy.

Those Attiny85 boards are as small as tedious to use. I prefer those new nano compatible clones without USB connector for project where the form factor is important: max compatibility and minimum dimensions ;)

Arduino DUE is totally another beast! It doesn't replace the UNO (or any other atmega 328 microcontroller based board).

Both 3.3V and 5V logic arduino nano boards are currently developed.

The app still exist (there are plenty actually) and is at your disposal: remote XY is the name. It's free for up to 5 elements on the screen.
Another good choice is bluetooth serial controller, 100% free but with a lesser appealing GUI.

Sorry for necroposting.
The pcb is a NY captor bootleg from "Terminator". The same pcb was used for the bootleg bronx, another shooter by Taito.
The difference from the original are that you have a single life (no life gauge) and that when "the guy" or "the girl" are got you cannot shot the killer underneat. Probably those parts where under protected corcuitry.

I have one of those working in one of my cabinets: will post some pic if you need them Bela ;)
