I'm now selling connector kits for Outrun, Powerdrift and no doubt other Sega PCB's.

They are an ideal solution if you need to make up test looms for these boards, particular given that the 50 pin connectors are troublesome to find.

The kit will contain the following, suitable for each game:

2x 10 pin JST connectors for power (with 20 crimps)
1x 20 pin JST connector for control (with 20 crimps)
1x 50 pin compatible connector for control and i/o (wth 50 crimps) - Please note this is not a JST connector
1x 6 pin JST or Molex connector for video (with 6 crimps)
1x 4 pin JST or Molex connector for audio (with 4 crimps)

I will provide 5-10 extra audio and video crimps in case mistakes are made

They are £10 per kit plus shipping. Shipping from the UK to Europe is £2.55 sent as Royal Mail International Standard (Not Tracked), which is a large letter, upto 100g. If you want tracking the price jumps to £7.75

Please note that I am only selling connectors as part of a kit, and not separately.

Information on the packs can be found here:

I would agree with that.  If I go one night without sleep I feel crap, so you did well!  The traumas would have just added to that.

Sounds like a stressful trip but worthwhile if the end results are good.

Hi guys,

I have a small number of reproduction Nintendo Vs Dr. Mario daughterboards for sale.

The boards just require a PPU and CPU to work.  I just need to know which PPU you want to use so I can burn the appropriate rom or I can provide blank roms and you can do it yourself

The price of the board is £55 + shippping.  Recent boards I sent to Germany cost around £4 each on shipping so that's roughly the shipping price

Let me know if you are interested

Yes I was hoping to use the SONY LDP-1500P, but instead of using the Laser Ace Card, use the Pi to deal with the commands

Games are likely to be Dragons Lair 1, 2 or Space Ace

Do you have a list of hardware this is compatible with please?

I'm wondering if it would work with a SONY LDP-1500P, without any additional hardware (i.e. Laser Ace Conversion Card)

If it does, I would be very interested in this also :-)

I would agree with the comment above.  Having read through this thread I believe it would be better if you had your own blog or similar and then you can post on there - if people are interested they can read and comment on it.  If not, they won't.  Simple.

As a neutral I also got the impression that you expected a fairly instant response to your thread and was annoyed when that didn't happen.  That simply doesn't happen and it can be for a number of reasons - people can't be bothered, they have nothing to say, they don't have the time or they want to post later.  It does seem like you have taken that personally, when in reality it happens on every forum.  It happens to me on DLF, UKVac etc.  I don't take offence.  I just assume people don't want to comment.  Fair enough.

I think your intentions were good  - a "2015 year end review", but when you title it as "Synonym9´s 2015 year end review", it does seem self indulgent, because the title sounds like you will be mostly talking about yourself, which is not what I think you were trying to achieve?

As I said I am totally neutral.  I don't know you or have any allegiances with any other members on here.  It's just how it read to me.

Valetin, I might be interested in the Ice Cold Beer.  Is it the Taito version?  What are approx costs for shipping to Europe please so I can have an idea of total cost?

My restoration is pretty much complete. The cab is all back together, as you can see here:

I've been working on some issues with the boards in the cabinet over the last few weeks, and detailed things a bit more here:

I'm not really familiar with Laser games, although I'd like to be :-)  However I've seen Laser Disk games with a separate board for BNC connections on monitors. like this:

http://www.ukvac.com/forum/polo-14-monitor-with-extra-board_topic344973_post896897.html?KW=laser+disk#896897

Do games like Mad Dog have a similar setup for the monitors?
