I always feel it best to rely on something that is accurate game artwork rather than trying to guess and making up stuff. The game is Moon Cresta after all so as long as you stick to actual Moon Cresta instructions you won't be wrong and there's loads of options since there's a few flyers with instructions.

The CPO is coming beautiful, congratulations!!!
There are a few moon crest flyers that have instructions on them. The instructions on the CPO are very basic and really don't go into any detail at all about how to play the game when you compare it to the instructions on the flyers. I'm sure you aren't missing anything. If you feel you need to change them in the future you can just open up the vector for the instructions and edit the text. Maybe change it into Italian? If you see a flyer with instructions you like better tell me which one and I'll put those on instead. https://www.flyerfever.com/?s=moon+crest

The text on this particular flyer had sentence structure and wording that very closely matched the Zaccaria CPO. I only changed the part where it said "control lever" because you use two buttons instead on the Zaccaria CPO. https://www.flyerfever.com/moon-cresta/

That's a photo ckong posted on a thread about his Moon Crest cab right here on DLF. Saw it years ago. Too bad it and one other photo posted here are the only reference images around of the CPO. Guy hasn't logged in here in a year lol.

Hand stitched and blended them because their sizes didn't match and the brightness was different on both. Decent results. Check back here daily for progress.

Matteo, I can repro the instructions card easily. There's plenty of other examples of moon cresta instructions available on flyers that are exactly the same as Zaccaria Moon Crest. The font used is also easily reproducible since I have scans of other Zaccaria instruction cards like your Space Pirate CPO scan.

Paul, I've finished cleaning your scan. There's much more work that could be done on it, but the heavy lifting has been completed. I've pm'ed you a link for the full size scan clean up so you have an option If you decide not to get your bezel scanned in one pass and professionally repaired and cleaned.

Regarding resolution and sharpness, it's a huge improvement compared to the other scan. A few minutes of alteration on the new scan blows away the other one as you can clearly see below. Still, It's going to need major repair and cleaning. Your scanner isn't doing this artwork any justice. The different scans are not matching up well in color, brightness etc. It's great for someone like me who would take the time to match it all, repair and clean it for low res MAME artwork.

If I were you I would take it to a good print shop and get it scanned in one pass on a pro machine at 600dpi. Then have someone you know with a good work portfolio restore/repair that scan. Your present scans aren't ideal, however they can definitely be used to make a print.

Thanks for sharing that scan Paul. It's really appreciated. Do I have your permission to make some MAME artwork from that and post it for the public?
