DONE!!!!!!

as hardware I used a raspberry pi 3b + with retropie and I started the cabinet with the ATARI version of the Dragon's lair with the Italian rom for an affective matter
the mythical blue screen

then using the exit key you can select other games which are:
Dragon's lair HD enhancement version
Dragon's lair Atari ITA
Dragon's lair ver F2
Space ace ATARI ita
Space ace HD enhancement version
ed infine
Dragon's lair II HD

i hope you like!!
see you!

Ciao

Alfredo!

now let's move on to grouting the vines and painting

for painting I tried with spray cans + primer but I didn't like it at all so I opted for this film to cover the furniture bought on amazonhttps://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07ZZ5XGRY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

almost done!!!

just need the bar holding the marquee!

for the control panel I used a piece of panel from an old industrial electrical panel which I folded according to the adhesive and pierced the hole

first assembly test :D

for the monitor i used an old lcd 4:3 from Acer

to cover the monitor I made a piece of transparent plexiglass with a frame that emulated the depth of a crt monitor

then I started doing the graphics and everything else
for U-molding i bought this on ebay which was perfect for the thickness

first test for the controller and hardware i used Raspberry pi 3b+

being the smaller cabinet than the original I had to resize all the graphics

Hello everyone!

i'm Alfredo from Italy, like all of you i'm an huge fan of Dragon's lair
I always wanted the original game cabinet ... unfortunately a little for space and a little for the price and the delicacy of the player / laserdisc
I preferred to build one from scratch in the 3/4 version (arcade 1up type to be clear).

I took inspiration for the project and the measurements from my modified street figheter II arcade 1up, first I built it all in cardboard

then with the help of my friend Alessandro we started with the realization of the project

here's the "skeleton" of the cabinet
