Namco's other massive simulator of the 90's, this thing is basically a Galaxian 3 Theatre stripped out and redressed with a REAL Mazda MX-5 car and the Ridge Racer game thrown in.
The car is actually a Eunos Roadster, the Japanese version of the Mazda MX-5/Miata.

Seriously, I can't find anything about another in operation or in storage right now. But overall I'm extremely happy I got to experience this before it gets lost to time  :)
I got to play one in worse condition. It was impressive.
It's apparently now in storage according to this: http://www.jammaplus.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=86398&PID=764155&title=first-visit-to-a-proper-arcade-in-17-years#764155

Apparently, the XBOX buttons are deliberately disabled. Something to do with the Kiosk Control Pack.

I'm sure you'd like to know of an arcade that has a Namco Ridge Racer Full Scale (I hope it's still there. It was and probably still is in very poor condition)
There are some other arcades close by to there as well.

A load of arcades in Great Yarmouth in here, here and along here.

There are also plenty of arcades in Skegness. Go left or right from here and you'll find some.

Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells near Skegness has a 4 cab Daytona setup with (non-functioning) motion seats.

There are also some arcades surrounding Fantasy Island: Here, here, here, here and here. One of them contains these cabs:

I could list more, but that could take a very long time and I don't feel like doing it.

EDIT: Updated links. The street view positions changed for some reason.

My post must be invisible then... :P

Wow, how did you spot it? Simply while playing Ridge4?

I have played Ridge Racer Type 4, but I hadn't noticed the G3 in it because I don't pay much attention to the scenery.
I recognised the Ridge Racer Type 4 logo in the bottom right of that picture.
So I Googled "Brightest Nite", which is what's written bottom centre of that picture. It turns out that "Brightest Nite" is the track name.
From there, I went to YouTube to find a video of that track. :)

EDIT: If you watch all of that video, you can spot more "Wonder Eggs 2" and Galaxian stuff. ;)
Do any of you own Ridge Racer Type 4? Maybe you can drive around the track yourself and take photos/screenshots.

Could be from tekken games?

Ridge Racer Type 4. ;) The R4 logo in the bottom right made me look that up.
Brightest Nite is the track, as said in the bottom centre.

Look on the left in this video: Link to the point in the video

Not sure if this really belongs here. It seems to fit in here best though.

Saw what appears to be a modified SEGA Super Hang On (upright and bike?) cabinet in an advert

The car is a Mazda.
Actually, it's a Eunos Roadster, the Japanese version of the Mazda MX5/Miata.
I've actually played one of those machines in Leysdown. It's in poor condition though.
Most of the sounds missing, inner door panel hanging off, loose steering wheel, misaligned projectors, 1(possibly 2 now) non working projectors, loose seat, loose pedals... The list goes on... :(
Maybe you can rescue it!? That's if it's still there, of course... :P

Definitely Windows.
The title bar seems to contain "C:¥Windows¥System32¥WindowsPowerShell¥v1.0¥powershell.exe".
It's also using the Windows Classic theme.

please tell me how to post a link in the way that the image appears.
Photobucket gives you img code for each picture. Looks something like this:
Code: [Select]
Just paste that code into the post and the image will be embedded in the post. :)

Still wonder what means top poster, is that something bad?
Nothing bad, it just means you've posted more than other people have.

I also have a photobucket account, just copy and paste the IMG link and you will be allright. But don't forget to resize.  :)
Or you could use the img thumb code... Looks something like this:
Code: [Select]

I'm afraid I don't understand... Do I post to much?
Are the members tired of that thread?
I think it's just because you have one picture per post... It adds a lot to your post count.
