What EPROM is it ? (Type)
Hi, I will take a look after work and 'try' to work it out.
Thanks man ;)

For a start, I'd try reseating all the ROMs (all socketed IC actually), it could just be a little dirt in a socket.
I have checked all the chips that are socketed are ok and totally reworked the Jamma connection as that was a bit loose in places but still got the 25V rom error... Do ya know any one that might be able to burn a new rom and fit it for a reasonable price? Thanks I'll post the question if need be. Mike

Hey guys, Although not much of a poster I am on here most days and am amazed by the dedication and knowledge of retro arcaders...
I recently picked up an upright GTi Club for my young son which was working perfectly, I came to it last week and all I now get is a bad rom 25V on the boot up screen and then it restarts, just going through a loop.

I have noticed 2 wires have come away from the Jamma connector (which looks a bit weak ) I am going to fit a new connector and rewire it to eliminate that issue.

Its not the easiest machine to work on  and although is Jamma the video connectors go to a separate part of the PCB so I can't really send it to my friend Irongiant.

Can any please help me out or point me in the right direction here? The only error on the boot up is the 25V do I need that actual rom replacing.

Thanks Mike

Hey John,
Well that could certainly go on another project, yeh it is quite pricey to get items from the US... My work railway stampers were around $40 postage but perhaps if you have a price on the panel you could let me know..

And thanks I knew of you because I've seen some of your posts :D

Hey Gents, Thanks for your replies!

I'm currently camping in Cornwall with my good lady, in our tent checking out the Internet  :-X

Luigi thanks I will look forward to your pic when you have time - It can only improve things...

Etienne, Yes I got them printed and they looked great.. After you went to all the trouble and time I gave some money to charity ( I do it sometimes when someone gives out a favour ;) The Moon Cresta table top actually also went to charity and placed in a retro type pub and makes them extra money for good causes. So you helped raise money here in the UK

Brilliant thanks I am sure I will be making a Kong order

Again thanks i am most grateful

Hi Luigi,
I would be interested in your bezel I don't mind a few flaws, do you have a pic please?
The cab I'm getting has similar dimensions to the Zac I believe

I haven't been on Jamma+ for a while thanks ill take a look!

I have seen Etiennes reproductions - he did a Moon Cresta instruction card for me Amazing work!

Does Etienne print them onto vinyl / onto plastic as well?

Thanks again my friend

Not asking for much am I? Hehe

I have an original Falcon pcb ( and a couple of clones). Here in Derby, England and most of the 80s arcades I used to play had Crazy Kong  and only played Donkey a few times.
I have just a couple of cabs at the moment and swap my games around.. Kong, Mr Do! Etc but I want to make a cab dedicated to my Crazy Kong pcb... I would love to make it into a Crazy Kong but I see more DK parts on eBay USA... Does any one have marquee, Bezel & CP or part of these that I could buy??

thanks so much Mike K

You guys really are inspiring with your dedication to keeping the old games alive, I don't post often but stop by most days. I'm 43 so perfect age for all this.
