OK, well, in my original post I said" Is there any collector who'd be interested AND could handle dealing with a container of games, then distributing or reselling as they chose? Or maybe a group of collectors getting together for a bulk deal?" The responses seemed affirmative. So, I prepared the photos, assuming maybe others had given this what ever consideration would be necessary for it to happen. Frankly, I'm not up to the task of investigating international taxes or laws etc. Getting a shipping quote for anyone wouldn't be all so difficult. Simply need to tell a freight forwarder it is coming Folkston,Georgia USA 31537 to where ever is good for you. And get a 20 foot and a 40 foot container quoted. Weight in the case doesn't matter.

As a side note, I have an arcade at home which has 35-40 games in it. The photos are from my factory where I have spare storage space. Very nice to have 15,000 SQ FT of room for ones games;). I do have a some very, very nice classics I might sell separately if a container is coming. Yes, the Moon Patrol I have could let go of. Really not much of a fan of it. I alos have a really, really nice dedicated 4 player Trog, a D.O.T. UR, Tron CT, few others I'm thinking about let go of. I really need a bigger arcade at home. Shipping individual games is just crazy expensive any more. Well, let's see if this comes together. If you think it can, it can!

I have numerous ones, pay the shipping and I'll send you a panel for free.

OK...finally, I got pictures taken. They can be seen at:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/73134604@N00/3230574704/in/photostream/

I wasn't sure how to download them here. I added jukeboxes and it is important to note not all items are being sold. At some point I have to decide what projects to keep. I included pictures of parts too. My hope is to come up with a 40 foot container load which I think will hold in the area of 35-40 games and lots of parts could be put on top of them. I really do not want to attempt to sell these one at a time, but if it must be that way I will. We have local docks at Brunswick, Georgia and /Savannah, Georgia. And NO the StarBlade is not for sale, just thought I'd throw in the photos for the fun of it ;) Have fun!!

actually I could include one Ms.Pac Man , I think 2 Galaga's, one Super Pac Man, and one QBert. Still yet, I'm sure I have another 30-40 to add to the list. In general I was trying to determine if this type of bulk sale would work. Here in the states so many old school games are being dumped by the operators nobody is really interested in my older collection. Well Darth if you know of others who might be serious, I'd like to see if we can make it happen. I KNOW you guys would simply have a blast opening a container full of classic games!

I have a lot of project games I'm never going to get to restoring. I know, everybody does, but I have more than most. It seems I can't stop buying deals of fixer uppers. Anyway, I had a thought of shipping a container of games, and lots of spare parts, i.e. monitors, control panels, power suppliers, etc. all in one container to Europe. Here's a partial list, it'll probably twice as many when I make an actual inventory.:

Cockpit Games
Sega Turbo   2 each complete, dead
Monaco GP  cp wiring cut
Pole Position 1 broken door hinges, bad pcb
Star Trek, works, intermitten sound problems
Omega Race, very clean, dead, power supply?

Mini / Cabaret Games
Elevator Action? Bad ps?
Battlezone bad pcb, dead?
Space Encounters dead pcb, have one I bought off EBay to test

Up Right Games
Taito “Blue” Space Invaders, bad pcb, dead
Star Trek U/R, bad monitor, pcb’s?
Tomahawk 777, bad pcb?
Millipede needs bezel and pcb
Twin Cobra JAMMA cab good need a pcb
Zenophobe JAMMA cab, needs a pcb
Virtua Cop 2 graphic issue, have spare pcb that might work
KickMan bad ps, good pcb
Frogger rough, needs pcb, joystick
Carnival no marquee, dead
Battlezone bad pcb, good monitor
Asteroids broken coin door, dead monitor, game coins up
Asteroids Deluxe 2 each I have rebuilt boards haven’t installed
Centipede 3 each complete, rebuilt boards to be installed
Midway Space Invaders dead board, monitor?
Future Spy bad power supply
Sprint One, dead complete
Sprint Two 2 each, both dead, one complete, one missing pcb
Operation Thunderbolt dead
OutRun nice, needs pcb, which I have several
Make Trax, 2 each, not tested
Omega Race nice, dead pcb?
Galaxian so-so condition, board just rebuilt
BadLands no pedals plays
Gorf no coin door, bad pcb, which I have many, monitor works
Gyruss, pretty nice plays 100%

Cocktails
Taito Space Invaders 2 each, one complete, dead, one missing ps and pcb
Universal with bootleg “Pento”, plays, sound amp bad
Asteroids, broken glass, dead, but very clean inside
Qix nice, dead, many spare board sets laying around
Centipede, I think 2 each both need art and pcbs

Spares
4-5 pallets of various monitors
100-150 PCB's
50-75 CP's
2-3 pallets Atari, Nintendo, Midway/Bally power supplies

Is there any collector who'd be interested AND could handle dealing with a container of games, then distributing or reselling as they chose? Or maybe a group of collectors getting together for a bulk deal? This would keep some collectors busy for a long time. As a lot I'm thinking $100 per game and maybe $1000 for all the spare parts. My guess for a 20' container to Europe, probably less than $2000.00US. I can be contacted at joustdaddy at yahoo.com, thanks for your input, Steve.

PS: hey Darth, finally got the seat shaker motor on my Star Blade working!

Hi Darth, any chance of getting scans or downloads of the StarBlade manual soon? My machine is in my garage, and I can only assume the cold has got to it, it now no longer  has a picture, but does have some sounds. Thaks, Steve.

Hi Darth, my Starblade is in the garage, unheated, so I haven't spent much time with it yet. Plus, I bought so many machines in 3-4 months, like 25-30, I'm completely covered up! I thought since I'm totally unfimilar with it,  it would best to wait to have a manual before I dive in to it. I have had two other StarBlade owners contact me about my machine. They both have cracked screens, and can find no replacements. As far as I can tell we may have the only 100% up and working ones now. In June I'll move this to my arcade down south, then it will be in a climate controlled atmosphere. I'm looking forward to logging in some hours on it, that final level sounds pretty wild 8)

Hi Darth,
Could you please scan your StarBlade book and email to me? I bought a StarBlade out of a dirty, nasty little store in Richmond Va. The guy told me it had not been plugged in for over a year, he needed the extension cord for something else, plus nobody ever played it anyway.
I brought it home, set it up, and run into some snags. First the games works, the art is good, externally looks great. I saw your video of the machine, thanks by the way. My machine the gun fires constantly, non-stop, very annoying. The strobe lites do not work, the speakers on the console do not work, the seat does not vibrate, and the marquee lite doesn't work.
Some of these issues I can troubleshoot with out a book, but since I've never seen or played a StarBlade a book to read about it would be great. I also called Namco, they were absolutely useless.
I attached photos of my machine. It's in my garage here in Virginia. Not much space. I have a detached garage at my Georgia house and will move it there in the summer.
Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
                                  Thank You,
                                           Steve Smith
